Surestay is the epitome of a motel you stop at for one night on a roadtrip. It's next to a rest stop and a bunch of fast food places, and if you're just looking for somewhere to crash, it gets the job done. The staff were friendly and prompt. The hotel benefits from interior corridors, which makes it feel secure. Elevator is extremely slow, but since there are only three floors, it's not too big of a deal. There are snack and drink machines on the second floor, which take credit cards. Nothing in the machines is substantial enough for a meal, but when you're 100 feet from a McDonald's it's not a big deal. I stayed in a 1 queen bed room - and while it worked fine for me as a solo traveller, it is a very small room. It feels like a student dorm. I imagine even two people would feel pretty cramped. The bed is quite comfortable, but the mattress is unsecured on a wooden base, and it tends to slide around a lot. The risk of someone banging their shin on the wood feels fairly high. Wi-Fi is very good, and can certainly support streaming. The room has a very large number of outlets and USB 2.0 ports, which I greatly appreciate. There is a LOT of noise around the hotel - some from other rooms, some from the freeway right outside. I strongly recommend bringing earplugs. Additionally, in place of curtains, the windows use slats. These tend to be inefficient at blocking light, so bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. Breakfast is extremely barebones - some cereal and yogurt - but that's normal for this kind of place. All in all, I'm satisfied with my stay.

I’ve been working in California for a few months and have stayed here multiple times. I always enjoy my stay. This place is perfect for someone like me who travels for work. The rooms are newly updated and very clean. 3 stories with an elevator. Decent guest laundry on the second floor. The WiFi is good. There are several fast food places nearby and a TA truck stop. There is a mini fridge with a freezer. I wish they had microwave in the room but no hotel is perfect. I stay here when I’m in the area.

One of the cleanest and most welcoming Motel 6s I have stayed at so far. It literally smells clean and fresh as you enter the door to the reception area. A very good place to stay and with easy access from HWY 99. Not much to criticize about this Motel 6, but I wish they could find a different solution when it comes to the refrigerators in the rooms. The fridges are, firstly, very small, and secondly, they are placed on the floor, which means that you literally have to crawl or lie flat on the floor to retrieve or place things in the fridge. The only people who profit from this are chiropractors and physiotherapists. I challenge Motel 6 in Livingston to find a solution where the refrigerators are placed at a more back-friendly height, for easier operation.

For a 2-yr old motel, I hoped for better. In the heat wave, all we needed was AC, a nice bed, and shower. The AC did blow cold, altho switched off and on loudly all night. The bed felt like a thick cot. Poor water pressure, but hot water. From midnight to 2am, someone (sounded like) was pounding on the floor above (remedied by our call to the front desk). Maybe the motel is totally quiet sometimes and we had bad luck. Oh, and 1 out of 2 of the guest dryers was already broken. Can't recommend this place.

This is a nice, new , clean Motel 6 facility which is great for a night if traveling via the relevant area. Nice parking, and apparently very pet friendly (we didn't have the dog with us but understood that's the case). But hey, no Shampoo? that's a bit stingy, no? and inconvenient...
