Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas

The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells was an excellent choice for our family get away over Spring Break. Parents, kids, and grandparents enjoyed the pools and water park area daily - loved the lazy river, the two slides, and all the variety in pool and spa choices. Our Penthouse Suites were spacious, nicely decorated, and had amazing large balconies with comfy loungers and couches. Although the property was at full capacity due to Spring Break, we received great service and found the food and drinks tasty! Spent one afternoon at the spa and enjoyed the Zen time.

Wonderful property. Friendly helpful staff everywhere. Lovely suite. Amazing breakfast. Clean updated rooms, with a very nice lobby. Loved the marketplace on property. This is the kind of simple luxury that we appreciate within the Hyatt world.

Such an amazing resort! it was recently renovated, and we were upgraded to a penthouse suite. The balcony had a great view of the pool and was huge with a sitting area and two lounge chairs. We were able to even watch movie night that was being shown by the pool for our balcony. The two waterslides and the lazy river was amazing. My kids had a great time at the tennis courts and the Pickleball courts. They also had a whole adult area and it was so much quieter and relaxing with a huge hot tub!

We stayed in one of the villas. Excellent suite with private patio including a jacuzzi, fire pit and outdoor grill. But the height of our experience was the personal dining experience. Chef Gustavo and his crew, including Johnny, treated us as if we were at a 5 star restaurant. Tacos one night, ribeyes the next and brats and burgers our final night. All on our patio with our 6 grandkids. It. Was. Exceptional!

We just returned from an amazing stay at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of four with two young kids. The entire resort is set up to balance relaxation for parents and non-stop fun for kids. The pool complex is the highlight—with waterslides, a lazy river, and even a splash zone, our children were entertained for hours each day. We especially loved the family cabanas and poolside service that let us unwind while still keeping an eye on the kids. The resort also offers family bikes and games on the lawn that made afternoons feel like summer camp with five-star service. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful view of the mountains and pool area. Every staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely seemed happy to have families around. Dining was easy with kids—plenty of casual options and even kid-friendly meals by the pool. It’s close enough to Palm Desert attractions for easy day trips, but honestly, we didn’t feel the need to leave the resort much at all. Highly recommend for families looking for luxury, fun, and relaxation all in one spot. We’re already planning our return trip!
