Phenomenal time! Such a friendly family oriented hotel with 4 legged friends welcome, Balls for all! Can't wait to come back and enjoy serenic wine country at The Lodge in front of the festive fire pit. Cheers to everyone that makes it here....

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was intimidating and scary. My husband and I encountered issues with our room, specifically a persistent shower dripping problem that made it difficult to sleep the first night. Despite being moved to another room of the same type the next day, the issue persisted. The situation escalated when we tried to address this issue with the front desk staff Angie. We were treated unprofessionally, given no opportunity to express our concerns or feelings and the police were called by her, resulting in our eviction under threat of arrest. It seems that Angie’s coworker believes she is skilled at handling difficult customers. What’s particularly concerning is that the front desk staff seemed to have the power to evacuate guests without adequate justification, which made us feel unsafe and unwelcome. Her coworker’s testimony leads me to believe that she has a tendency to escalate situations rather than resolve them. No manager was on site as I asked.

The staff were so kind and helped us with an early check in. They were very informative and gave my husband and I some tips of amazing places to visit locally and even provided us a map! As for our room, it was clean, pristine, and so inviting. The fireplace added a romantic and cozy touch for our short stay. We also appreciated the small things such as stocked coffee packets, creamers, cups, and waters. Will definitely look forward to coming back!

This past week, my hubby and another couple stayed at The Lodge at Healdsburg. We were in the area enjoying some local wine tasting establishments, and since both couples are Hilton Honors members (one Platinum and one Gold), we opted to stay at this hotel. I would stay here again. The hotel has only been part of the Hilton collection for about 2 years, having been previously associated with the Best Western next door. Everything has been upgraded to reflect Hilton standards. The rooms (#505 and #524) were large, the king bed was very comfortable including two large pillows per person, the towels were large, bright white and supple, and the room was quiet, clean and well-maintained. The room included 2 bottles of water, a Nespresso coffee maker including liquid CoffeeMate creamer, a nice television located in front of the bed, and a fireplace (turn on/off) for ambience. There was also a mini-fridge to use. There were plenty of electrical outlets, including one on each lamp by each bedside. Ample lighting, a roomy closet and safe, two fluffy robes and TWO luggage racks were included. Our room had a sleeper sofa which was comfortable to sit upon and had two small round tables in front of it to use. There was a balcony with two chairs and a small round table, too. The first floor had similar patios. The ventilation was quite, worked well and was controlled by a thermostat on the wall, where you could select heat, cold and the fan speed. The room had lovely decorations, and was well-appointed. The bathroom was large, and the large shower had a nice grab bar, easy access to the shower, easy to use water controls, and a great shower head and separate hand held wand, and included bath soaps, shampoos, etc. There was a “shelf” next to the toilet, and one below the mirror in the hall - large enough to place a cup of coffee or a hairbrush — a nice touch. There was a comfortable chair in front of the desk. When we checked in, we were greeted by two lovely associates who were pleasant, helpful and seemed excited about their jobs and sharing with us about the hotel. A big thank you to Angie, who answered many of my questions throughout the evening. Between 4 to 6 pm, there was also complimentary wine tasting from Kokomo Winery which we enjoyed, sitting outside in the courtyard. There were fire pits and comfortable seating throughout the first level, including the patio area in the center of all rooms that face to the courtyard. The hotel is located about 1.2 miles from downtown Healdsburg. We opted to walk to and from dinner - about 20 minutes along a flat, well-lighted trail. At breakfast, we had several options from which to choose and we selected the delicious quiche from a local bakery which was fabulous. There were also sandwich options to select for breakfast. This was a great hotel. Room #524 was “behind” a large structure in the courtyard (jacuzzi tower) so our view was partially obstructed, but not an issue for us. The hotel does use the Hilton digital key, but it was not working for us at this time, but also not an issue for us. As I mentioned earlier, bottom line — I would stay here again!!!!
