The buildings are getting old , but everything works and is clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The suites are big enough and come stocked with dishes if you want to cook there. Plus there are restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. They could use a plant based item in the breakfast since it is LA and all but still very good stay.

This was our second stay here and it was like having our own apartment for a week and cheaper than an Air BNB. Highly recommend the 2 BR. It was very spacious and accommodated my family of 5 very well. The surrounding area is nice with a lot of shopping. It was also about a 10-15 drive to the nearest beach. Will definitely stay again.

This place was perfect for my family to stay together but also have some personal space. The pool and breakfast were great. It was nearby to walk to great restaurants and a big movie theater. What made the stay especially great was housekeeping and front desk working together to help package and return a few items we had accidentally left behind. They really went above and beyond and I will be returning to stay here again!

Avoid! This is probably one of the worst Hyatt properties I have ever stayed in. I usually have a low bar when it comes to to hotels in the US but this hotel really tested my patience. First, this hotel has a weird policy that you need to request room cleaning 24 hours before. I have never seen that before in any hotel in my life. That too the excuse they provided is "for the safety of our staff and guests". What nonsense. Anyway, following the policy, I requested room cleaning for Sunday on Saturday morning itself. The front office person confirmed twice over the phone that the request was received. On Sunday, I went to the front office to confirm again that the room will be cleaned. But to my surprise, the front office person mentions that there is no such cleaning scheduled and they never got a request. She then says she cant do much (this is quite early in the day btw) and offers change of towels. I mention the towel count and move on with the day. On return in the night, I see that I didn't receive towels either. I don't think I would have experienced this kind of service even in a Super 8. The only good thing about the hotel is that the rooms are quite big and the grounds are decently maintained. But there are too many cons. The property is very dated and desperately needs a refurbishment. I am usually OK with old properties as that is not a major deal breaker. One more major con is that there is no elevator. If your room is on the 3rd floor, you need to carry your bags all the way. This was a first for me too. Most motels I have been to in the US had an elevator.
