Indian Creek Lodge

We loved our stay at Indian Creek Lodge! The room was very clean and nicely decorated, it is well stocked with essentials. The place appears to be freshly remodeled - bathroom looks pretty stylish. Bed was comfortable. There are great outdoor spaces at the Inn - picnic tables, firepit, and chairs along Trinity River. Probably great place for fishermen, one wouldn't need to even drive (although we didn't fish), and they sell some flies and gear. The Cafe at the property closed earlier than it was supposed to - make sure to check with host if you are planning on dinner there. But we easily found couple options at Weaverville 10 min away. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, she phoned before our arrival to make sure we can get in - we were arriving late. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again sometime.

From the highway this looked like any other riverside motel, but inside is unexpectedly upscale. New plush towels, high-quality sheets and bedding, and thoughtful amenities in the kitchenette are just a few of the upgrades. We ate our breakfasts outside on the picnic table and enjoyed the birdsong. The swimming pool looked refreshing, though we didn’t swim.

Family vacation ruined due to a burst pipe in my sister’s room. The manager that day was completely useless. Water cane through the wall and base boards all over the floor due to a leak in the adjoining room. Before that catastrophe, the billing for the room was a total mess. They could not figure out how to apply the deposits for 3 rooms. So after hours on the road, we were greeted with incompetence trying to get checked in! I don’t know why we were treated to such poor service? Then after that, water pours into my sister’s room and the manager could have cared less about the problem!!! When my sister tried to get some form of partial refund for the River of water coming through the walls, the manager said she could not do anything about it and would have to contact the owner. After numerous phone calls to the lodge manager and owner, just silence. The owner is an uncaring greedy individual who lost our business forever. DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager is incompetent and had no ability to solve problems and the owner takes your money and could care less if your trip is ruined by the very old building and it’s leaky and broken infrastructure. AVOID THIS LODGE!

What an amazing little place! Location is fantastic; near river and right outside of town. It’s very clean and comfortable with a continental breakfast, free s’more, fire pit and a game room. Rooms were amazing and big!!! We attended a wedding nearby. Loved our stay!

What a gem. The owners have obviously taken great care to think about each detail. The room designs are quirky but everything has been upgraded - beds are amazing, the bathroom is redone, the in-room coffee is really good, and everything is sparklingly clean. The grounds are spectacular. We watched the sunset by the river - it ended a perfect day. They also have snacks, beverages and anything else you might need in the office. We will be back to Indian Creek Lodge!!
