Hyatt Place UC Davis

Pillows were like someone wadded up clothes and threw them in a sack. Bed was so hard I could not sleep. Curtains wouldn't close all the way. Sink was clogged up. I recommend if you have to stay here, get the room with a pull out bed so you can take the bed off the pull out and put it on top of the matres.

Beds very comfortable, clean, quality toiletries provided, staff very welcoming and responsive to needs, quiet in rooms, roaming turkeys 🦃 gobbling occasionally outside on UC Davis comforting. (There are trains passing in distance, not bothersome.) And yummy, healthy breakfast provided.

The staff @ this hotel are AMAZING! I have been coming here for months due to a program I am attending @ UC Davis-Sacramento. This hotel sits at the back of the UC Davis campus in Davis, but has beautiful grounds (trees, flowers, turkeys, etc..) It is absolutely beautiful! When I checked in Bianca was great! She greeted me with a smile and quickly checked me in. She gave me information on breakfast & parking. (she waived my parking fees because I am in the healthcare field and am there to work @ UC Davis-Sacramento) She didn't have to do it, BUT she did!!! Also, in the evenings, Mariella, Jack & Ginger were ALL great! We talked about best restaurants around and the nightlife in Davis, etc... and it's nice to have great customer service! I will be coming back until at least June (the end of my program) but I had to write a review about this place and it's staff! Oh, the rooms? Clean, comfortable & the housekeeping staff is great as well! Next time you're in Davis, give them a try! You will love it!

Average 3 star hotel. Cost was more than it should be with the exception of the convenience of being on the Davis campus. Rooms were average, nothing fancy. Front staff was nice and helpful in answering questions. The AC was not working in our room and the hitel overall is showing it's age and needs a freshen up.

The room was very loud from constant trains all night. The window AC unit was also very loud so I had to get up several times to turn it off because of the noise and then turn it back on because it got too hot. And this was in March... Worst night of sleep in a long time. The hotel also lost my reservation despite my confirmation number. They still had rooms available so it was OK. The condition of the room was good and the food was good. I will probably get a different hotel for my next trip.
