Previous reviews were spot on. It looks old on the outside but it is pretty on the inside. The bed was super comfortable. We stayed two nights with our toddler and they provided a pack n play and blankets. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash were amazing, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A few things that could be improved: Stock the coffee bar a bit more, with decaf options, more water, provide a blanket/throw for the couch. Overall it was a great stay and we will stay again-when we can afford it =)

Very nice and cosy hotel. Big rooms, nicely furnished. The staff was serviceminded and attentive. The location in the wonderful town Carmel was perfect. It gave us a memorable experience. We strongly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a calm and mayby romatic vacation.

What great attention to detail! We had such a wonderful experience here from checkin (greeted with a wonderful smile and glass of sparkling wine), to fresh cookies delivered, a very nicely appointed suite, to a lovely local fresh breakfast. We will definitely return and highly recommend this location.

This is the most perfect, quaint hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Every single detail was special and the staff there are so kind and gracious. Daverle and Alex really went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay. I came for a birthday getaway and am looking for another excuse to return ASAP - thank you Petit Pali!

The service that we received was a #10. Everyone we dealt with went above and beyond. The two ladies that ran the breakfast buffet were my favorites, I especially connected with the "slightly" older lady. She was wonderful and much closer to my age. Our room, however was too small. We wanted a room with a fireplace and we got the last one available. When we come back, we will definitely book a larger room or suite. The room was clean and nicely decorated, just too small for our needs.
