Iāve had many Amazing stays over the past couple years however, when coming to most recent stay. Upon arriving to the hotel with my partner, weāve noticed that there was no clock inside of the room, we thought nothing of it. But upon leaving and checking out, we were charged with a missing clock. The housekeeper claims that there was a clock in the room when there wasnāt. I am a student at Pasadena City College with a clear and honest track record. For them to believe I steal a CLOCK is insulting, Iāll be having my stay elsewhere.

Iām conflicted about leaving this review, but when an experience falls short in multiple ways, I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, the front desk manager falsely claimed that I had not checked in, despite the fact that I had completed mobile check-in through the HHonors app the night before and had confirmation to prove it. The selected room was out of order, requiring a reassignmentābut rather than simply explaining this, the desk manager insisted I had not checked in at all. As someone with a background in hospitality, I know that room numbers can be adjusted even after check-in, making this interaction unnecessary and frustrating. It wasnāt until I requested to speak with the GM that the issue was finally resolved. Unfortunately, the problems didnāt end there. Upon entering our "clean" room, we found a dirty sock next to the chair, requiring a call to housekeeping. Then, early the next morning, the bathroom ceiling started leakingāa major maintenance failure. The property attempted to address these issues with 7,000 HHonors service recovery points and a promised room rate adjustment (which I have yet to see reflected on my credit card). At this point, Iām not inclined to follow up on itānot because of the money, but because the entire experience highlighted a deeper issue: poor management and guest service. While Iām giving this property three stars because they followed through with the service recovery points, I expected much better from a relatively new hotel in a prime location. Unfortunately, the way this hotel is run appears to reflect the priorities of its ownership group, Fine Hospitality Groupāfocusing more on ROI and GOP than actual hospitality. Given that this is one of the only "decent" hotels near Azusa Pacific University, itās a wasted opportunity. Sadly, I donāt see myself returning.

Pros: The hotel and room were very clean, and the king bed was blissfully comfortable (the pull out couch bed had a very thin mattress so you could feel the frame though - ok for a kid). The sheets were in a cabinet, but oddly there was no fitted sheet. The shower had nice pressure and was hot. Staff was super friendly. Cons: There was almost no sound insulation between us and the adjoining room (a little disappointed that we were not aware of that) and we could hear entire conversations until nearly 11pm. I'm glad they finally quieted down, but they restarted at 6:30 am. The breakfast was grab and go; some prepared egg scramble bowls (no basic eggs, so we had to pick out the peppers and onions). Oatmeal and your basic cold stuff, plus make your own waffles. Coffee was really good. Parking was a little limited; not sure I'd want to park around back since there were a lot of people roaming around the building. If it wasn't for the noise, I'd stay here again.

Just a quick overnight stay for a graduation party held at Alosta Brewing Company nearby. Located next to the 210 freeway and exit, but the noise was barely audible (we did have the A/C on the majority of our stay). Polite staff, nice property, clean and comfortable. For a quick (late night) bite, there are two options within walking distance: In-N-Out Burger (kitty-corner to the hotel property) and McDonald's (located within the same parking lot as the hotel). I would definitely consider this hotel again if I am in the area to visit family and friends.

This is a conveniently located fairly new hotel in Azusa. It is right off the highway but not really any highway noise. I stayed here for 6 nights and was pleasantly surprised but how nice the staff were and how clean the hotel is. The housekeeping staff did a great job with clean rooms and hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. I needed quarters for the laundry and they always had plenty. The kitchen in the room was well stocked with silverware, cups, plates and glasses. I will stay here again if I come this way.
