The Front Porch Hidden Oasis

Spent a couple of nights in a charming room here. Bed was comfy. The entire place is designed for relaxation. Courtyard with fountain. Community sauna (could have been hotter). Fully equipped kitchen. Great location...10 minute walk to the town square and good restaurants closer. We will be back!

Our family had a great stay at the front porch inn. The room was cute and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking simple meals. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and oatmeal for breakfast. We are a family of 4. The room did have a lot of furniture which needed to be rearranged to use the sofa bed. It was very cramped with the sofa bed extended- but that was a small issue. The room was fairly clean - but we did find socks and a water bottle under the bed. The outdoor tubs and sauna are beautiful. I watched a spider building a web overhead and a hummingbird buzzing around during an early morning soak- which I found amazing. If you are seeking sparkling modern facilities- this is not the place...but if you are looking for an outdoorsy, relaxing, zen vibe- then you will enjoy staying here. We loved the location- downtown is an easy 10 minute stroll.

This was a step up from camping. We stayed in the Garden Breeze room. It was very small. The bathroom was so tiny there was no room for a sink and mirror. We had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. I had to hold a flashlight to put my makeup on at a mirror with terrible lighting. The shower was awful. The wi if didn’t work so we couldn’t watch tv. The owner came out late to reset the router. By the time they came out, we were asleep. Due to rain all weekend, we couldn’t enjoy the tubs (not the owners’ fault). We left a day early. Would not recommend. Street parking was easy. There are tons of excellent reviews on Booking.com, so clearly this place appeals to a lot of people. It was not our jam.
