This was a great place to stay. Conveniently located right off I-680 and 24, plus BART is walking distance from the hotel. Great restaurants nearby and shopping is close as well. The entire staff was amazing, front desk staff, housekeeping, valet all were absolutely marvelous. The room was clean, well organized, and very quiet. The only time I could hear the BART was when I was awake and I barely heard it as it passed by outside my window (try that in NY or Chicago). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

When I checked in the customer service rep at the front desk was wonderful after shift change. I had a couple incidents happen and the customer service just declined so drastically that I would never stay here again. So to elaborate another room was pounding on my door and running I walked out. I saw what room they went to I saw who they were and what they were wearing. I let the front desk know and I got no other feedback. So I called Back down after an hour said what’s going on are they gonna be moved? The customer service agent at that point was a Mail and said no what do you want me to do and I said well I don’t wanna be woken up in the middle of the night so I think they should be moved. He said well they are not answering. Will they have an email address and they have a phone number on file as everybody else should he tells me no they don’t without even looking I said OK well what should I do? I don’t want to stay here and fear. It was very loud kicking and banging that happened and he said well do whatever you want I can move your room Which was just terrible customer service from the get-go. I then let him know you should block their access cards since they’re not answering the phone and you have no contact information for them and have them move when they come back he said I don’t think I can do that so I had to pack everything up and move so that they would not do this to me again later in the evening, I ordered food. He refused to let my driver up when I went downstairs. The driver was already gone. I said why didn’t you let my driver upwhat he did didn’t know as I had already spoken to the driver and the driver, let me know that he had given the room number and the representative at the desk said well you can’t go up there right now so I went downstairs. I grabbed my food and one of my items was missing this hotel is subpar. Do not stay here. The customer service is terrible. The location is valet only or street parking. Only there is no other option they only provided on a little breakfast. There is no restaurant or bar in this hotel and once again the employees are not trained well enough and customer service so don’t stay here. Trust me

Mina is the most hospitable person I have ever met. From congratulations to me on my first job with my company traveling, to making every evening feel safe, and providing the best personalized customer service. There is no doubt I’d stay again just for the warm welcome at the front desk, however the quality of the room speaks for itself.

We were in Walnut Creek for a conference on a Friday, and then visiting family for the weekend. We decided to stay at the Residence Inn in order to have a full kitchen. The reason for the 5 stars, is frankly it was far better in all respects than we expected. We were initially not sure about the valet only parking, but found the valets to be prompt courteous and professional. We were in a studio room that felt roomy with comfortable furniture. We are gamers and travel with our console, so were particularly pleased at the easy to access HDMI cable, and the instant ability to connect to our console. We used the gym on both Friday and Saturday and found the equipment to modern and clean. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Overall, the stay was beyond our expectation. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again. We noticed some reviewers mention noise from other rooms. We noticed a little noise, but travel with small white noise machines for sleeping, so we were not disturbed.
