Motel 6 Vallejo CA Six Flags West

yesterday May 20.24 The gal there sent me to a room that did not exist. they said " oh yes there is NO parking"...so i came back in and asked for another room? and she sent me to an upstairs room ( which I did not want as I had a lot to carry), and she DID NOT EVEN electronically adjust the room key, SO I COULD NOT GET IN! I came back and asked her to make it work for me...she did NOT offer to come back to the room to make the key work;' so I asked for her name as i was so frustrated with her poor performance...she REFUSED TO GIVE ME HER NAME> AND SHE TOLD ME TO LEAVE!! SGTATING " WE CAN REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE!" ( I AM NOT K IDDING YOU-_ I CALLED BACK THIS MORNING, AND A GAL NAMED "VICTORIA" REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE NAME OF THAT GIRL ( EVEN THOUGH SHE "SAYS": SHE HAS WORKED THERE FOR 2 YEARS) SHE RERFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MANAGER"S PHONE NUMBER >

They are in the process of remodeling so it’s a bit of a mess outside but my room is like brand new! The bed is so comfortable and everything is so clean and nice! By looking at some of the earlier reviews I guess it was certainly time for a remodel but I have to applaud them. I had been planning on staying at red roof and had to leave because it was so bad and when I got here to Motel six they only had one room left. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating! I needed a handicapped accessible room and somehow she made that happen. The only thing I noticed is that they have not finished putting on the toilet paper roll holder so the roll of toilet paper is sitting on the handrail in the bathroom but I can certainly live with that. I could not be more pleased!

This place is privately owned now. After the toilet overflowed twice, we tried stop it ourselves. We received 20$ back for walking in urine. It didn't go to my card. It went to Expedia. Christine manager okayed $20. The room smelled like a smokers convention was held there. I cleaned up the dog's peeing with lysol that I brought. I found the floor filthy. The sheets were stained with who knows what. And when asked if they could put Bill on another card? The lady said yes twice and promptly billed the wrong card. Note the shower is a hazard. The drain catch is bent upwards so likely to cut one's foot. I am reporting to better business bureau and Vallejo chamber of commerce. Avoid this hotel like the plague. Working on reporting to public health and better business bureau next.

We got checked into a room that wreaked of sewer when you opened the bathroom door. So nasty it's hard to describe. We checked in late and used some spray and tiger balm I had brought to barely get by. Promptly in the morning we asked for another room but nothing was available on the second floor. The final straw was when there was a blackout and the smell starting creeping into the room since the exhaust fan was off at 9:00 pm. We left promptly with only one night refunded.

Managers need to be trained on customer service!!! Tom Bodett needs new management for this property. Their lights are burnt out. Do not stay at this property. We are a contractor that use Motel 6 now and then, but will NOT use this property again.
