Fairfield Inn By Marriott Vacaville

Stayed here Thursday until Saturday. Not much of anything great. Breakfast needs a look at. Oatmeal was so watery, it was like a soup. No yogurts, fruits, cream cheese, waffles, barely anything. The room was not cleaned well. Hair was in the shower, the towels had stains. I requested for housekeeping service and they said they will not clean my room since I’m only there for 2 nights and 3 days total. What hotel doesn’t give housekeeping services?? No wonder the room is dirty. Hotel is rundown, rather spend my money down the street at a holiday inn because this hotel does not live up to Marriott Standards.

Pictures are misleading. Hotel is outdated. Came here with my family for the weekend and breakfast was distasteful. Older lady, Breakfast attendant was rude and shouting. Barely any food on both days. Waste of time, go out for breakfast don’t eat here

I've stayed at this hotel annually on business for a week each of the past three years. First suggestion is to change up the breakfast to varieties besides scrambled eggs each morning. The major issue I experienced this week was smelling marijuana in the hotel. This past week on the evening of Oct 29th, I returned to the hotel from dinner only to smell pot being smoked I assume in an occupied room near the entrance. Eventually I smelled it in my room. I contacted Marriott corporate and was told local hotel management would be contacting me before the end of my five-night stay. Not having heard from the hotel after a few days, I contacted Marriott corporate again who assured me I would be contacted. Unfortunately no one contacted me. Perhaps the hotel's "no smoking" policy only applies to cigars and cigarettes?

July9th until July 12th. Room was dirty upon check in and ac unit did not work in our room. When I told the girl at the desk around 8pm on July 9th “oh haha” we are not sure what was funny. She did not offer to let us change rooms or offered clean beddin. Breakfast options were the same everyday, nothing exciting. Mostly just processed meat and bread with no butter or jam. When I checked in, the african american girl was not welcoming. She appeared to be eating at the desk and got frustrated that we walked in. I felt like we were interrupting her meal. Everytime we passed the desk, she was looking down and did not greet us. + I would suggest changing the breakfast items or atleast rotating the menu, seeing the same things everyday is not appealing.

Rooms are okay. I was very sick and had my husband had booked the room for us. There was a miscommunication with the front desk and they booked us for 2 nights vs 1. We left the next day, leaving the card in the room. So come Monday I noticed a charge on my account. I called the hotel to explain and get reimbursed for the extra day charged and they didnt care. I would not stay there again.
