Stayed one night before a convention. Room was small but clean and quiet. Hotel bar was pleasant with great service. Food was tasty. Pool was heated but no hot tub (only disappointment there). Staff friendly and attentive. Mall across the steep for shopping entertainment and more dining options. Fitness room large and lots of options for workout. Business center right at elevator for easy access. Parking appeared safe. I would stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel before but I'm writing this as a fire evacuee. Although we fled the Eaton fire in neighboring Altadena, our daughter lives about 10 minutes from here so we booked a room the morning we needed it. I am writing this on night three of our stay. The staff here could not have been nicer or more professional. I met Da first, who helped get us settled and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. His Asst Manager Kristen was a wonderful manager who was clearly working hard with her staff during this difficult period. Our housekeeper Bernice brought me something I needed and was lovely to us. Not only was the staff wonderful, the hotel was located across from the Westfield mall (formerly Fox Hills?) and I was able to purchase "necessities" and snacks at Target and pick up meals at its food court. Thank you to the staff of Four Points Culver City, for being so nice to my husband and me during a very difficult time.

We had booked a room several weeks prior to our trip to LA. When we arrived we were told the hotel had no rooms available and they had given away all the rooms. It was close to 2am and we were left without a hotel room in an unfamiliar city. The employee at the front desk was rude, smelled very strongly of marijuana and acted as if it was our fault. When we booked we also added booking protection obviously this did not matter. We were only offered free cancellation not a refund. After asking we were told they would refund us our money, but we have yet to receive it. (This all took place 4 days ago). Everywhere within a 20 minute radius was fully booked and it took us close to 45 minutes to find another place which didn’t even have availability for the entirety of our stay. We are very disappointed since we have had positive experiences with Marriot in the past but will be sticking with Best Western from this point on.

Came here for a conference— and first things first, I would like to comment the friendly front desk staff (they won’t let you in your room before 3 but at least they tell you that nicely). Special shout out to Xander (Zander?) who worked the bar a few of the evenings we were there. What a gem! He was unobtrusively, quietly attentive and a sweetheart. I wish him well. That said, too bad the bar hours end at just 10 am even on Friday and Saturday evenings! Kinda lame, and the location of the hotel (off the 405 and next to a mall, no walkable area) doesn’t offer easily reached options without getting in a car. Beyond that, things are “OK” but cheap feeling (the breakfast with plastic ware etc.). They didn’t warn us that daily housekeeping is not done (no sign in the room either) so, after our first night, I was shocked to return to an unmade bed, no extra TP etc. They did quickly provide extra towels & supplies when asked, but you have to ask, which already means the attention and forethought for your needs as a guest is lacking. It is manageable but just be aware. Gym facilities looked ok (didn’t get a chance to use); breakfast was mid but what you expect at this price point. Coffee was awful, unfortunately. Security could be enhanced by requiring a key card to access guest room floors…. Overall OK but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Underwhelmed. They tried to charge $32 for a breakfast buffet. The furniture is outdated and banged up. The TVs are tiny and the beds are uncomfortable. There is maintenance clearly needed. The doors are really hard to open and at 8:30 this morning, housekeeping woke us up to find out if we were checking out today. Shouldn’t they already know that?
