We had an amazing stay at Hofsas House! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The pool and sauna amenities were fantastic and the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable ā we loved being able to walk to nearby shops, wine tasting rooms, and charming restaurants. Itās the ideal spot for a Carmel getaway. Highly recommend and canāt wait to return!

Great location, pool, continental breakfast. Easy walk to downtown and beach. It was noisy at times. The barking dogs in the hotel was annoying. I wish guests were quieter. Dogs should stay home. I assumed that dog was left alone in the room.

It is a charming looking building with parking at the rear. Because it has grown through extensions, there are numerous parts of the building with different entrances. The room was very spacious and the decor, floral and reminiscent of an earlier era. Please note that there is no elevator. We had to carry our cases up two flights of stairs. There was breakfast consisting of coffee, fresh fruit, yogurts and individually wrapped fresh pastries. Please note that other than a sofa and two arm chairs in the reception area, there is nowhere to eat the breakfast. You can eat in your room or in your car. Perhaps this is normal in the US. I am used to European hotels where there is a dining area.
