Stayed here for a meeting in Ganado (which does not really have a place to stay) and it was functional and did the job. It was nothing special. The front was completely blocked off for repaving and remodeling, so you had to go around back, which was confusing for many but I had stayed here before and knew where the other door was. This is as you would expect for a motel - noise travels some between rooms and from the outside traffic. It was comfortable enough and got the job done. Staff was very nice and friendly and apologized for the fact that the wifi was being worked on and might work or it might not. I never got it to work, but I had enough cell signal to get most of what I needed. Good value at $108 a night as a clean place to sleep, shower, shave and keep going.

Positives-- clean room and decent restaurant. Negatives-- the place badly needs a maintenance overhaul, inside and out. Example, the water in the shower is weak, super weak, you don't even need to turn on the cold water handle in the shower as the hot water alone suffices for the correct temperature when bathing, and the bathtub drain is pathetically slow. Enough said.

I'd call it 3.5/5. Rooms were clean and appointed well enough. What sinks the score for me was how very loud the hotel was. Neighbors opening and closing their door sounded like they were inside my room, and I could hear the rumbling of those on the stairs. The fridge was very noisy all night long as well. That being said, the staff here was exceptional, so they are doing everything at a top level - issues lie in the structure/building. Otherwise a decent stay

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant and supportive staff, impressive restaurant with modest prices and delicious meals, quiet A/C system, and great location. I highly recommend this place for travelling around the area. Attached are two photos: first of the twins from Spider Woman, a creation story about the grandmother who continues to protect humans; and the second of the cave where Kit Carson murdered many Dine' people trying to escape removal from their land.

I stayed here for a meeting. It is a no-frills, functional spot with a good restaurant in a good location. Our group happened to meet in the rooms off of the restaurant. Staff was helpful. Rooms are dated and my door needed an extra push to properly lock. Old wall units were pretty noisy when the heat turned on in the night. Shower was hot, food was good, bed was decent. It does functional well, but don't expect more.
