Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Airport

We stayed here for 1 night in February 2025. We arrived after midnight from a late flight. Check in was smooth, but the layout of the hotel with multiple buildings and parking lots was confusing. We just left our car near the main entrance and went from there. The room was a typical Residence Inn style with one big open room. The trash can for the bathroom area was in a cabinet under the sink and was filled with the last guest's trash, so that was gross. The bed was super soft and definitely well worn as we both sank right in upon getting into it, which is fine if you like that sort of thing, and a big back ache when you wake up if you don't. Breakfast was back in the main building, so we walked over in the morning in the rain. Breakfast was fine, eggs, bacon, breads, cereal, the usual Residence in breakfast food.

The location is perfect. 15 minutes walk from the airport. 10 minutes walk to a grocery store. Hot breakfast with eggs and bacon or sausage, and the usual cereal and bagels, etc. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Clean hallways and area around the pool. We’ll definitely stay there again. Wouldn’t walk on the street after dark as there were a lot of homeless people out, but during the day, it was very safe. Waymo is cheaper than Uber or Lyft on most occasions. Train tracks were nearby somewhere and trains kept on honking at 2 am on most nights and waking us up. Earplugs helped though.

June 29th my wife & I have stayed here two times now. The rooms are clean & modern with a kitchen area. The staff is friendly. It’s in an area with lots of stores & restaurants. If in the area again I would stay here. They have a great breakfast also.

An above average Residence Inn, very near the airport. Front desk was friendly and efficient at both check in and check out, room was clean, morning breakfast was good but pretty standard for this type of hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
