They are in the process of redoing their hotel. Our room had been renovated and was clean. The beds were nice and we all slept well. They had the fridge completely turned off so we couldnât put our food in the fridge right away. There wasnât any ice anywhere except for in the food area on the first floor which was kind of a pain. The pool area is very old but the water was very warm and nice. I thought the water was clear and could see to the bottom. The bottom of the pool was rough if not wearing pool shoes but we had a great time at the pool. There were plenty of clean towels. The breakfast area was okay. We got down to the breakfast area before 8. There was almost no hot food and the lady told us that there were a couple of servings of each item and that she couldnât put out any more because they didnât want to have extra food when the breakfast time ended. I asked when the breakfast time ended and she told me 10 AM so I didnât understand why there couldnât be any food out for two more hours. I asked a couple of times when we were going to be able to get more food as there were four of us. Someone came in after me and complained at the front desk, and finally some more food came out. The lady in the food area was not nice about it. I can see if youâre getting down there right when the breakfast is closing but we were not.

The entire hotel smelled musty and stale. Our room had no hot water and was told by the desk clerk that no one else had complained so just let it run until it gets hot. It didnât. The hvac sounded like a diesel truck. We got no sleep. I do not recommend this hotel!

This is the nicest hotel Iâve ever been to, free all day coffee and hot chocolate and really really good breakfast, their omelet was excellent, if I could come back I definitely would. The workers are so nice they offered us water and sprite when we first got there, I donât think there is anything to hate about this place.

Avoid this hotel! The hotel as a whole was nasty, run down and needs major maintenance. On the first floor at the elevator entrance, there was a wet towel with a âCautionâ sign sitting on top. The ceiling was leaking, and been for sometime because the ceiling was moldy. Immediately, when we exited the elevator on the second floor, there was a âwet dogâ strong smell. The carpet in our room was wet 3 feet surrounding the air conditioner. There was no hot water for 2 days. I tried to call the front desk to complain, but the phone didnât work. Ended up going downstairs to report it, and it was fixed after a few hours. The breakfast was subpar compared to other Hampton Inns where weâve stayed. Fewer items than most and no meat. When we checked out, we expressed our dissatisfaction. All we received was an apology. We will never stay here again.

Full disclosure, I am a Hilton Diamond member so swing Hiltons way when possible. This hotel needs a refresh and the front desk lady needs a rest. Busy place, very quiet which I like, but worn out. I scored as I did due to the off road location and fast Internet. TV was small and HVAC worked as expected.
