Extremely loud room above us until after 3 am. Desk said they would fix the issue but never happened. Fridge was filthy. Front desk was busy eating her Chinese food and didnāt want to help us out , so we grabbed a couple of waters and told her what room , she then ran down hall after us yelling. We booked d12 rooms that night and ha card on file but she felt we were stealing .50 worth of water?

This is a slum hotel. The front desk committed an illegal act, the room had no working AC and smelled foul. Search YouTube for hotel name, the recorded conversation will be posted there. Stay at the Home2Suites up the street. This was a horrible experience staying here.

My family made reservations in October last year for a 3 bed suite and a 2 bedroom suite. The day of our arrival they downgraded our 3 bedroom to a studio with 1 king and a pull out. They said our room was under construction. I even called the week before to make sure everything was good because of the eclipse. I am quite sure they just gave it away. They ended up giving us 2 rooms with $100 off, but that split my husband and I up with our grandkids which was less than ideal. Second the bedside dresser fall over! I was so glad it fell on me and not my smallest grandson. At 1st I thought they forgot to secure that one to the wall. I had the bottom drawer open and then the other drawers came at me and then the entire thing fell forward. I found out all the dressers in all 3 of our rooms fall over the same way! So dangerous. These are going to injure a baby or a small kid.

Stephanie at the front desk is rude. Hotel is in need of renovations. Mold on showers curtain. Asked for a new one or different room. Weāre told they had no more rooms and that we need to come down to get a different shower curtain and put it up ourselves. Refused to come get it mostly due to the rudeness. Stephanie brings it to our room by banging on the door and attempting to drop it on the floor. Just rude. We attempted to hang it, but it had that same black mold on it. We asked for a credit because we were going to leave so we could actually take a shower. She said she could not refund us but we would need to speak with management. Asked her to have them call us. She could not do that. We left with a request for a manager to call. Still today, no call. This happened on Saturday and today is Tuesday. Stephanie obviously understands she can treat customers rudely because there is no follow-up, nothing happens. This is the worst treatment at a Marriott property that I have ever experienced.

The hotel was convenient, and did have a small couch, desk, table and kitchenette. The staff was friendly - but the hotel overall could have been cleaner - the comforter on our bed had rips in hit - cleverly hidden by the Marriott coverlet. The breakfast coffee was cold and the offerings less than what we are used to at a Marriott property. We are dedicated Marriott customers, but typically stay at Courtyards and Fairfields - I realize this is a step down from that in the portfolio and likely won't stay at another TownPlace Suites.
