Smelly and unclean. Woman at desk was the rudest clerk I've ever met. Tried to over charge me. She canceled my reservation that I booked online... terrible experience. Went to Best Western across the street and had a much better experience.

Made a reservation on the Red Roof app with 2 dogs. Expected to pay the rate stated in reservation plus the usual $15 pet fee for the 2nd dog. Arrived and was told my reservation wouldnât be honored - room rate would be higher plus a $25 fee. Staff cancelled my app reservation, made a copy of my credit card, and gave my key. Upon seeing (and smelling) the room, I decided not to stay and politely asked for a refund. Mgr agreed to refund me except for a âcleaning feeâ since I had entered the room (literally walked in - didnât touch bed, use towels or linen, nothing. I objected, again politely, and mgr began screaming and cussing and threatening to call police. I have never before left a hotel (or even complained) and I travel often with my dogs. It was a crazy experience. Do not stay here. They try to scam with higher than quoted rates. Rooms are gross and the manager is truly unhinged.

This was the most less than delightful experience of our traveling lives. I highly recommend the hotel across the street. Hotels.com was able to get us a refund after our wholely less than delightful experience at RRI. In spite of their website assurances that pets are free, $50 cash was commandeered and not returned 10 minutes later when we were most less than delightfully removed. Our host was moving at a great rate of speed down the hallway to assist our exit. We just felt not so calm and not so refreshed by this assistance.

This hotel is terrible. Made reservations through red roof in app. When we arrived no one at the check in desk. Finally a young woman came and I told her I had a reservation. When checking in she quoted a price different then the app and said there is a cleaning fee of 25$ for my small dog.I told her I been traveling cross country for seven years using Red roof inns and never heard of cleaning fee for a dog. Then she ask me for my license and credit card. She proceeded to make a copy of both I question her what doses she do with the copy because that never happened before. She told me thatâs there procedure did not like that I was tired went to the room and found the room dirty sheets had blood stains on them And bed spread had pee stains. Called the young woman to change the sheets. She came to the room and though us out of the hotel for complaining to much.She said she will call the police she called the manager. When the manager came I approached him in his car and told him what happen he did not like that. I told him to cancel my credit card transaction and give me the copy they made. I mention to him that making a copy might be illegal with that he started cursing at me and my wife to get out and physically slammed the door of my car as we were leaving. They should not be in business bad for the franchise.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Nobody at front desk when we arrived, clerk did come out in a few minutes. Room was reserved at $86.64 and card was charged at $99.99. I understood this to be extra charge for incidentals, if needed. (We did not use anything that could be charged to room) I asked about it at check out and thought she said it could be credited. Again, no one at desk for check out. I called the number left at desk and left a voice mail. The clerk did arrive in the elevator and checked me out. I waited another week and called about the still unrefunded charge and was told that they would call me back later that evening. That has been one week ago, so weâre now at two weeks and money has still not been credited back to my card. This is not a substantial amount of money and I will not pursue this farther, however, I feel itâs frustrating to pay for non disclosed charges! Desk clerk was also absent when we arrived back from dinner. Not sure if desk is ever staffed consistently or just as needed? I felt this was a safety concern and that anybody could enter the hotel unchecked. Attn Tesla drivers: I specifically chose this hotel because of the Tesla destination charger, however website does not mention that there is a $25 fee to use it. Instead, we drove to a nearby supercharger and charged completely for $17. Room was ok for one night. Will not stay here again.
