Holiday Inn Express Little Rock Airport an IHG Hotel

Staff not least bit helpful, the last time I stopped at this hote, the staff were much friendlier. This time, I don’t know if he was new or if he was in a bad mood, but he acted like simply asking where the lobby bathroom was a bother. I had to wait in the parking lot for a few minutes because I had to pick up a guest for that hotel. He made me leave. The guest I was bringing there decided to stay somewhere else when I told them what happened.

This hotel is a reliable airport standby. The hotel is immaculate, the front desk staff efficient and can do, but the frosting on the cake is the breakfast--not because of the just-cooked eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and grits--but because of the sunshine who cooks them: Miss Vanessa! Before you take a bite she has you knowing the day is going to be great! It makes such a difference to stay at a hotel with front desk and ancillary staff who are focused on making your stay the best it can be. I'm a regular here because they take care of whatever I need--with a smile.

Pros- staff are friendly, shower is hot, beds are comfy. Cons- rooms are not maintained well (unpainted spots on walls, broken flip locks, odd patch jobs, broken shower curtain and rods) or particularly clean (mold in shower and floor did not look or feel vacuumed). The person in charge of breakfast wants to be cleaned up and done BY 9am, so don't think you will get breakfast at 845. This seems a deceptive advertisment. For $100 per night I expected something different. Won't book here again.

This facility used to be quite nice, but it has deteriorated considerably in the six months since my last stay. No television reception in the rooms. Only one of three charging ports in the room actually worked. Asked for consideration on bill when checking out. None at all indicated when they sent the bill four days later, even tho' I'm an IHG Rewards member. Room was also near interstate so constant traffic noise all night. Is this how you treat IHG members? Will never stay there again. There are other options near LIT.

Just stayed here Dec. 20-21. Booked in advance and w/ a late arrival confirmed twice while traveling. Arrived very late and tired. Room was held / available. Too dark to review outside from arrival time to departure time because of our schedule but didn’t see anything nearby to walk to such as a bar or restaurant. Checkin went smooth. Big signs everywhere apologizing for no tv service!! Arrival into room = very disappointing! Smelled! Antiquated / dated! Windows in room by room entrance door ( on inside of hotel ) w/ the pullout couch where son slept, the curtains didn’t close…a foot of space on each side let passerbys, if they wanted to, see full view into our room. Kindergarten size / height toilets in room and public restroom. Toilet paper three feet / too far away to reach while using commode in room!!! Dated!!! No bedding for pull out couch in room so son went and asked at front desk and no blankets or pillows were available. I get it was late but why wasn’t a set in room to begin with??? Room and common areas were So dated and dirty! Upon check out the same person who checked us in six hours earlier, said printer wasn’t working so I couldn’t get a copy of my bill. He then acted surprised I couldn’t get a couch blanket, sheets or pillows!!! Same person said there weren’t any six hours earlier! Did I mention how dated and dirty this place was?? I’m sorry for having to write a bad review but I’m not, because hopefully this helps others to avoid this place until they do some serious updating!!!
