Hampton Inn & Suites West Little Rock

Save your money, i have stayed at Hampton Inn’s all over the country, this should be a motel 6. Bathroom and closet share a sliding door. TV to small for room, pillows and mattress was terrible. The breakfast was fair, and place was clean just not up to Hampton standards….160.00 way to much for this place!!!

This hotel has been very nicely updated. Our room was clean and roomy. The breakfast bar was good with a nice variety. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We were hesitant because of some negative reviews, but we were fully pleased and would definitely stay here again. Definitely recommend!

It is time for new pillows and mattress. These were the worse I have ever slept on. The mattress had zero support. The food in the breakfast area was not hot but they did get refreshing the coffee. Also it is getting very close to time for a makeover to the hotel. Very disappointed in the stay.

I’ll start with the good: hotel was fairly clean. We requested a top floor room due to loud neighbors at a previous stay at another Hilton property. I don’t think this room gets used much as it was dusty, and stale smelling. The location to where we needed to be the next couple of days was great. We felt fairly safe. Parking was iffy, but not terrible. The bad: this hotel DOES NOT have conditioner in the shower! We always stay at Hilton properties, and I’ve stopped packing shampoos conditioners and body washes because Hilton always provides quality bath products. My husband goes to the front desk and asks for conditioner. He was told they had one bottle left and he had to PURCHASE it! I have never had to purchase basic items at a hotel in my life! House keeping may have came in our room, and I’m certain someone did while we were gone. The beds were not made! The towels were not replaced with clean ones. After a trip to the pool I stopped by the front desk to ask for towels. She says how many do you need? I asked for 3. She says I only have two clean towels, but here’s 5 hand towels someone can use! Wow! My daughter was in the shower and yells, mom… we’re out of shampoo! My husband goes back downstairs to ask for shampoo. She says, we’re out of shampoo! My daughter had been swimming and needed to wash the chlorine out of her hair. She had to use body wash to wash her hair. It was a tangled mess!!! It was horrible! Upon check out, we were asked how our stay was. I immediately asked if they were out of shampoo. She says, no with a puzzled look on her face. I told her what happened and she said, oh that girl is new. She didn’t know. That was a horrible excuse! Why were there no clean towels? Why does this location not have complimentary conditioner? Why doesn’t the staff know where or how to change out a shampoo dispenser?! If you stay here make sure your have plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash of your OWN! I’d recommended asking for towels upon check in to be sure you get extras when they don’t come spruce up your room.

The young lady at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. The lady at the breakfast bar was also friendly and was keeping the area very clean. As a Hilton Honors member the digital check in and out is very convenient and was working well. Overall it was a pleasant experience. We will definitely stay here again when in Little Rock
