DoubleTree by Hilton Hot Springs

This Hotel is wonderful!!! Modern and on the Lake so lovely. Plenty of parking. Checking was easy and rooms were pleasant. Cookie welcome was nice and so was free coffee. The breakfast was way overpriced just horrible! Don’t eat there unless they change it up.

The hotel was very clean and had great views of the lake. It is in a central location. There is restaurant and bar at the hotel. It is very close to Fisherman's Wharf which was great. We had trouble getting an Uber. The staff was able to help us with JJ's tax service. It was a great experience. We also ate the Ohio Club and SQBX Pizza. I had a great salad at the Ohio Club. The pizza was wonderful as was the salad. We tried to go to Deluca's. Know they have an unusual reservation system if you go. You reserve a crust not a table. We went to Oaklawn to attend the races. It was fun and the new casino was very nice and parking was easy. We also visited Anthony Chapel. It was stunning and worth the drive. Make sure you visit the Arlington Hotel Bar. It is absolutely beautiful. Kollective coffee is a great place for a latte. Superior Brewery had a good pretzel. Fatbottom cupcakes is worth a visit. Cupcake was very fresh and a reasonable price. There are many flavors to select from. There are several cute boutiques on Central Avenue worth a visit.

I was unpleased with this establishment. Our reservations were canceled without our knowledge so we had to "rebook" at the front desk. The water was luke warm at best. The beds were hard. Only one elevator was operational. I would not recommend. However, the receptionist had a pleasant demeanor.

The hotel was beautiful and it was very clean. The staff was friendly. Our room was really nice. The pool area was nice, but the lawn furniture around the pool area needed the spiderwebs woped off. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
