Knights Inn Yuma

THIS WAS A SICKENING & HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. IN NO WAY SHOULD ANYONE BE EXPECTED TO STAY HERE. ARRIVED FINDING THIS FILTHY BLOOD/FECIES STAINED MATTRESS, A SHOWER THAT LEAKED, HEAT / AIRCONDITIONING UNIT THAT WASN'T WORKING PROPERLY, ROOM SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE LEAVING US WITH AN UNMADE BED, NO TOWELS, WET FLOOR, FULL WASTEBASKET, ECT. MANAGERS ARE RARELY THERE TO HELP & WE WERE LEFT STUCK IN THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. ADDING TO GETTING VERY LITTLE SLEEP AS THEY USE THIS MOTEL IS USED FOR HOUSING IMIGRANT WORKERS SO THEY WERE PARTYING & LOUD UNTIL 2 am MOST NIGHTS. WE REQUESTED SOME OF OUR BOOKING MONEY BACK FROM THE MANAGERS SCOTT SIMPSON, RAAMESH SHINNI, AND DESK CLERK MONICA BUT NO ONE IS WILLING TO SPEAK TO US OR HELP US. - THE BOOKING AMOUNT WE PAID ONLY ADDS SALT TO THE WOUND. IT WAS BAD ENOUGH THAT WE PREPAID FOR THIS MOTEL AND THEN HAD NO RECOURSE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. AMENITIES & MOTEL FACILITY PICTURES WERE ALSO NOT AS SHOWN ONCE WE WERE THERE.

We have stayed at Knight's Inn in the past when it was a Wyndham facility and it showed up as a Wyndham place on the website we used, so we booked it. The price was the best in the area at the time and the beds were clean. Before we used the bathroom I went to Dollar Tree nearby and got a can of Comet, Lysol and some cleaning supplies and came and cleaned the bathroom before we walked in it or used the shower. In our past experience it has not been this bad. The TV did not work properly, and the Internet was so overloaded it did not work, The microwave and refrigerator worked OK. The "breakfast" was a packaged muffin or roll with available coffee.

My children & I traveled across country vehicle broke down faced w/aprox.2 months homelessless landed at Knights Inn because it is the most affordable rate in Yuma. We were treated w/dignity & respect during entire stay. Staff are attentive & genuinely care about guest comfort, police daily patrol is awesome deterrent & provided extra sense of security. This hotel has been more than a resting place for us, staff has gone beyond expectation especially after I read all the scary reviews. They encouraged me to reach out to community resources that helped us budget into independent living, they shared their own personal food w/my children, they introduced us to a church. I'm disable single mom, no insurance, suffered chronic pain...staff bought me over counter relief. My hotel neighbors were the best as well!! They covered a night stay for us, they made homemade tea when I was ill, they shared their food & possitive energy. My children & I are privileged to experience quality service at Knights Inn & Suites Yuma... our departure is bitter/sweet... we'll miss yall!! (am confused why appears not much invested in steam cleaning carpets tho)

The room was SO filthy. As soon as I walked in I had to walk right back out for clean air. There was cigarette buds on the floor. The mattresses have disgusting stains all over them. The carpet was stained and discolored. One of the sheets had a red stain. There was a huge hole in the wall. The restroom did not look like it had been cleaned. The floors were definitely not vacuumed. It was a smoking room but smelled like cat pee plus smoke. The only good thing about this place was the women working the desk when I arrived. She was helpful and gave me a full refund ASAP.

Our room did not look like the pix on their page. The carpet was so dirty that we left tracks on the tile in the bathroom. The bathroom door frame was splintered and looked as if someone had kicked the door open. There was mold in the shower and the metal around the bottom of the shower was rusted. Black dirt covered every horizontal surface near the floor in the bathroom. The AC was taped together.
