TownePlace Suites Tucson Williams Centre

We were in town for a meet at University of Arizona; stayed here for four nights. I would definitely stay here again. Room was good sized. Nice kitchen area in the suite. Hotel was well taken care of, clean and updated. Small but nice sitting area in front with a nice gas Weber grill for guests to use. Small pool area, but nice attached sitting area with fireplace (if needed! It was fairly cool during our trip). Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Pretty standard, in line with most Marriotts, but no complaints at all. Good location; easy trip down to campus. Lots of eating options nearby. So, overall not an absolute diamond, but definitely well taken care of and we would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the lobby area was clean, we did not find the same level of cleanliness in our room's toilet. As a Lifetime Elite member, I received complimentary high-speed internet and breakfast (though with limited options), but several issues marred our stay. The surrounding area is decent and appears safe. However, I encountered a significant issue with the receptionist's attitude. As a top-tier Elite member, I usually receive room upgrades, even when booking with reward points. When I inquired about an upgrade, I was rudely informed that although rooms were available, an upgrade could not be provided. Additionally, we discovered that the toilet in our room was dirty and had not been cleaned properly. My child noticed this and brought it to our attention, which was quite unpleasant. Due to our exhaustion after an 8+ hour drive and having all our luggage unpacked, we did not have the energy to request a room change at 9:30 PM. We cleaned the toilet ourselves and informed the hotel upon our departure. In response, we were given a courtesy 2000 points, which felt like a Joke. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hotel to other travelers passing through the area, as the overall facilities and location are satisfactory.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. The first time was fantastic but this time we were driven away because of roaches in the room. We immediately picked up our stuff and asked to be switched rooms only to be put in another room that also had roaches. We did just go down to the front desk to ask for a refund and we ended up at another hotel. It’s so unfortunate because the hotel looked very clean and we had a great first time but I just can’t see myself coming back. The staff was very kind and understanding and did state they will be calling someone to address the situation.

Room was ok - just big enough - some closet space good desk with a pull out table. Dishwasher, utensils, cook top all ok. It was pretty clean - though one cleaner did not empty the recycle bin .. Pool is ok but kids make it unpleasant - did mange a peaceful Saturday morning. Gym doe snot have an elliptical, Main draw back is the sealed window - no fresh air. Would not have stayed had this been clear before hand.

We didn’t hear very many noises from the hallway or other rooms. But our bathroom fan was quite noisy. The bed was comfortable. The Breakfast was decent with eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, etc. They clean the rooms every other day. Overall a decent hotel.
