Our travel company had a group stay at Doubletree Suites, Williams Center for three nights in March. Due to flight delays, we arrived late and tired. The front desk workers were cheery and helpful as they directed us to our rooms. Despite being a bit dated, the rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious. We had only compliments, no complaints, from our travelers. Everyone enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. It consisted of eggs, meat, a variety of baked goods and more. The pool/courtyard area is beautiful. It was a bit cool for swimming, but some of our guests made use of the hot tub. Whether we were coming or going from the hotel, the front desk staff was always friendly. At the time of our departure, we were also given treats to enjoy as we traveled on. To the team at Doubletree, thank you for your attention to details for our group!

Looks good from the outside but this hotel is just AWFUL. Our first room smelled like an ashtray and the "better" room we were then given is falling apart. The rooms are filthy. There were tears in the carpet and I even cut my foot open (see photo). These rooms look like they have not been redone or cleaned in at least 5 years and are disgusting (see photos). The old saying that, "you get what you pay for" is true for this hotel. The eggs at breakfast are rubbery and inedible. AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS.

The room was very large, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed three nights, housekeeping changed our towels, but that was all. I don't need sheets changed, but maybe make the bed? Our sheer curtains were ripped. The door to the bathroom needs to be fixed, as it was falling off the hinges and needed to be pulled up to actually shut the door. First time to the area, so didn't really know where to stay. I liked the location as it was close to downtown and easy to get around. First hilton in a long time where I didn't receive a text from management welcoming us to the property and giving a contact for questions. Door 3 is apparently the smoking area for the staff, so that smell was in our face every time we came back to the hotel in the evenings. Would I stay again? Maybe, if the price was right. But if would have to be right.

The hotel is very dated. But then again, so is this entire area of town. Was allowed to check in a little early, which I greatly appreciate. Was not recognized as a gold member by the front desk staff. The room is spacious, zero complaints on that. However, every bit of furniture is extremely dated. Sofa, chairs, beds etc. Bathroom is incredibly small. The AC units from the surrounding areas rumbled the room the entire night. Breakfast was poor....but, you usually expect this now. Everything was empty and picked over. There is a lack of elevators to get to the higher floors from most of the doors.

This hotel has beautiful exterior desert landscaping and an attractive pool area. Unfortunately, our room did not quite live up to the exterior. While it was spacious, the bathroom was about the smallest I've ever been in, with the sink in the bedroom. This creates problems if you're traveling with another person. The room was decorated entirely in brown and was on a lower level, which made it quite gloomy. The curtain across the front door was torn and frayed, and there were off-putting stains on the upholstered chair. Hilton should be able to do better. On the plus side, the room was clean and had all the usual amenities. The breakfast was good, but needs better staffing. Items frequently ran out and were not replenished quickly. The on-site restaurant is also decorated in brown and is quite dark . All the staff were pleasant. On the whole, this was an adequate room, but I would probably choose a different hotel for my next stay.
