All around disappointment and management did not seem to care. After much research of the area, we booked this hotel for spring break due to location, heated pool, and free parking. Parking was not free, be prepared to spend $10 per night on a parking lot that is not secure. Pool was ICE cold the day we arrived. I reached out to management immediately, day two pool was still freezing. We spoke with multiple other guests around the pool disappointed to find it was not heated as advertised. Multiple messages were sent and emailed regarding this. Finally by day 3 our last day the water seemed to warm up as maintenance "looked into things". It seems the hotel is just poorly managed and maintained. There were no working ice machines during our stay, floor 2 and 4 were broken, A bartender took us to the roof for ice. The second elevator was broken our entire stay. Fully booked hotel with only one working (very slow) elevator. 5th floor is VERY noisy due to rooftop bar. You will hear music until it is turned off, every footstep, and anytime someone moves the furniture on the roof. The room was VERY noisy, paper thin walls. For what ever reason the day we wanted a coffee from the coffee shop there was not a person working, and the front desk person did not seem to care that guests were standing around waiting at the coffee counter. The location seems nice, however its right on train tracks, and you have to get around a large fence to walk towards the entertainment district. Getting into the parking lot is only available from one direction so it was just a constant driving around to get in and out to certain directions. I would not recommend this hotel for the high price tag. Rooms were TINY, no closet space, hardly anywhere to hang clothing. The rooms have a VERY limited space beverage cooler not even large enough for a to go box. Our entire stay shower water never seemed to be able to get hot. This is a dressed up budget hotel charging far too much for what it offers.

Fantastic BW hotel in a great location. Loved the hotel, the room, and the staff was very good as well. The best part? The rooftop provides fantastic views of the city and mountains and planes landing at Sky Harbor. The hotel also has food, alcohol, and coffee options. Definitely recommend this hotel.

A very nice Best Western hotel. BW can be hit or miss, and this one hits. The lobby is welcoming, the bar is reasonably priced, and the taco takeout counter was really tasty. A short walk to a great Thai restaurant and various chains like Chili's. Rooms are small, but well-appointed. Probably the coldest bathroom I've ever experienced. Leave the door open to let the rest of the room provide heat. Overall, the room was quiet and comfortable. We'll stay here again when in Tempe.

First the pluses. Great location if you need to be close to ASU. The bed is comfortable and the climate control is quiet. The shower fixtures are cool. Now the not so goods. If you like impractical, stylish but edgy concrete-chrome-steel decor and plan to spend only a night or two, this is your place. The room layout and design is really inefficient. A divider/shelf crosses the room and serves as the bed headboard, desk, coffee shelf, and separation for the steel shelving unit that covers the wall behind. What it really does is chop up the useful space in the room. The little work area -- not a desk really, just a portion of the shelf -- is intimidatingly small and dark. The king size bed is crammed into the little room so that you can barely walk around to the far side of it. TV faces the bed and cannot be viewed from the arm chair provided which takes up the entire space between the foot of the bed and the wall with the TV on it. The usual places to put stuff are absent -- no chest of drawers so if you unpack clothing you must pile it on steel shelves; shelving unit contains an area to hang clothes that is all of maybe 12 inches wide so doesn't hold much. If you have a suitcase it is going to be in the way because the only place to put it is on a bench next to the bed which takes up most of the walkway around the bed. If you are sensitive to wi-fi EMF, the place is swimming in it. No breakfast in the morning and a hidden parking fee. There are reading lights that are supposed to turn off when you push them back into the bed headboard, mine didn't stay retracted so kept coming on. If I stay there again it will be because of the location and despite the room design.

Our non-profit chose this hotel for our staff meeting, and I went in early for account meetings, so I was there for a full week. Trish, Patti, and the rest of the team are amazing, and I felt so at home here! Each of the staff I encountered provided friendly and helpful service. The hotel is in a convenient location and has a beautiful lobby/bar area. The taco place inside also has amazing food. The room was very comfortable, with everything I needed. It had a comfy bed and pillows, and a nice shower too! The conference room worked great for our meeting, and I didn't hear one single complaint about the hotel from my colleagues!
