Motel 6 Tempe AZ Scottsdale South

Friendly staff at check in. I actually thought bed was comfortable despite dingy sheets that made me feel a little dirty. They also allow dogs no extra fee. I had 2 50 pounders so that limits my hotel options. Friendly roach in our room. Room was rather grimy. There’s a penny on the floor in bathroom, if you stay in room 123, pretty sure it’ll still be there because it doesn’t look like it’s actually cleaned. In pic is the roach that was scurrying across the furniture…he didn’t live to scurry any further. Though I am curious how cleaning crew misses trash stuffed in peephole on door. Guess so paranoid individuals can feel safe. Also, how is light switch melted?! It was in desperation to get a hotel; it was an outrageous nightly rate ($164 w tax) for a roach motel. Spend the extra $$ is my suggestion for a cleaner place.

Lydia makes this property.... The reason that people come back over and over. Baseball season is coming up. My aunt & Uncle and all my friends stay. It's centrally located. I only take away one star because of the neighborhood but that has nothing to do with the property. So bring your travel candle and settle in.

As my husband, children n I stayed throughout most of the month of October we were wonderfully accommodated with staff members: Lydia, Carly, Shan, and sheldon. We enjoyed our stay they made sure we were safe, everything working properly in the room. We strongly recommend others to stay,the staff is great.

This is so convenient to the 101 and the 202. You have a problem or question the front desk helps immediately. If there's any riff Raff or nonsense it, is handled. Lydia and the whole staff has been fantastic during this crisis. Everything is very clean.

If you are looking for a squeaky clean great smelling room at a fantastic price in Scottsdale, this is it. Most of the surrounding hotels are double and triple the price. I agree with the suggestion to select an upstairs room facing the parking lot. The neighborhood may be a little sketch but you are just sleeping here. Agree the staff is great!
