Don't get me wrong - the hotel has a beautiful view, the lobby is modern and cozy and staff is friendly. There are free events/activities offered daily but for the price tag of the room - disappointing. Courtyard Marriott in Flagstaff was nicer than this. I had high expectations considering this is considered Premium lodging for Marriott and the lobby set the standard. But the minute we walked into the room it felt like a low budget motel that they tried to cover up with a little bit of paint and modern decor. Is it disgusting? Absolutely not! It's just not worth the price we paid. To start, walking into our room was so underwhelming and didn't match how the pictures felt our room was going to look. Our TV didn't work so the maintenance guy had to come in and fix it the first 30 min we checked in. The walls in our room were thin so we could hear when our neighbors drag their luggage across the room and the shower run. Avoid rooms under the lobby unless you want to be blessed with the sounds of dragging furniture and what not above you. When you sleep at night, you might get lucky with a bed that squeaks at every movement and to top it off, right above your bed there's what I assume is the wifi router constantly flashing its green lights next to what might be a fire alarm light flashing every minute next to it. Would I stay here again? Definitely not for the price we paid.

A little underwhelming compared to the photos. As others have mentioned it is a motel. What makes the property unique are patios. They offer nice views right out the back door of the rooms. Unfortunately they are shared spaces that need an update. The furniture was dirty and broken. Drink glasses and food were left sitting for over 24 hours. If you area light sleeper beware. Car parking is literally in front of the rooms so people coming and going at all hours is possible. Also, the shared space outback of the rooms can get noisy with groups of guest. The lobby staff were were not pleasant and the pool area was very small. The beds were not comfortable and the bathroom floor was coming up in several places. On a positive note, food options within walking distance that were not overcrowded. Also, no street noise which was good.

This hotel is definitely not up to Marriott standards by any means. The rooms are small and way overpriced! The front desk people are surly and pompous. To charge $36/night to park your own car!!! This isn't NYC. There were no parking spaces on our second night and still they had the audacity to charge $36! $22 for a lame buffet? You can get better at a Fairfield Inn but I guess they think its ok to gouge since you're in Sedona. The walls are paper-thin, the door rattled in the wind outside. Not worth the price of this mediocre hotel.

No Zen at Sky Rocks Mixed bag at this Marriott “motel”. Nicely decorated, recently renovated hotel outside of the daytime chaos of Sedona. Nice, caring staff. William, a particularly delightful “fixer” consultant was warm and welcoming upon arrival. Some front desk staff was dismissive and not welcoming or warm in any way. Seemed like we were bothering when we needed our check out process completed. Another person more interested in their computer screen than the bodies in front of them. So this place is not recommended. It is a motel masquerading as a high end hotel. Outside entrances to your rooms with a 2nd patio back door of glass make for a loud evening and loud morning from guests arriving and leaving, dragging their luggage across concrete along with car door slamming and headlights piercing your quest for peace ruin the attempt to rest. Housekeeping carts rolling past both sides of your room the room at 0800 disallows sleeping in restfully. Housekeeping can’t find a way to quietly open and close doors they are serving and open the deadbolt which slams doors as they walk in and out. Lazy. The hotel is trying too hard with limited space. Their breakfast buffet is set up in the lobby but they don’t use the space effectively and cause people to but up against each other while simultaneously getting their plate and exiting out of one door to the patio. They also run a morning yoga class on the shared patio space, right outside your glass bedroom door. Just dumb use of space and a morning distraction if you want to rest. The rooms were customary sized and beds comfy. They weirdly didn’t have ironing boards or irons, strangely opting for a steamer instead. Their evening dinner options were soggy and cold, giving me the idea that they only have room for one of those gross easy-bake ovens from Starbucks. Breakfast was better. Anyway, I wanted to like this place but the value for money proposition was just plain lacking. My wife called the property “lipstick on a pig”. We left early because we just couldn’t take all the noise. Their

I don't even know where to start with this place. Stayed here for 2 nights in Sedona. Upon check in, they were having trouble with my reservation even though it was booked over a month ago and I had the confirmation number. Anyway, once they finally got their reservation issues all squared away, they told me they only had 2 queen beds rather than the king I booked. Whatever, I'll take it. She claimed it was a better room anyway with a better view. Sure enough the view was beautiful, but I still would have liked my king sized bed. There are no elevators in this hotel, so we had to lug all of our stuff down 2 flights of stairs which had been freshly power washed and were quite slippery. Then since everything was wet, we proceeded to track dirt and water all throughout the room. They power washed like that both days we were there, and both days we were quite annoyed about tracking mud into our rooms. I had a little bit of work to get done while there, so I got my laptop out and logged into the wifi. It was incredibly slow. It was getting hard not to lose my patience waiting for things to load. If you were lucky enough to snag a spot, which we were the second night, you can sit out on their deck with the fire pit going and a glass of wine in hand. The only positive I have to say about this place. Lastly, I'd like to mention that if there's any wind, get ready to feel like there's a nascar race going on outside your door. The wind was howling through the bottom of the door all night long. I now see why in their welcome paper that they offer ear plugs. It was crazy how loud it was, however I feel like they could have added some weather stripping to the bottom of the door to decrease that annoyance. Sadly, I would not recommend this place nor will I be coming back. Luckily, Sedona has lots of other options for me to try next time.
