Holiday Inn Express Sedona an IHG Hotel

First time to Sedona with a friend who has been several times and she suggested we stay in Oak Creek. We arrived in a slightly unseasonal snow storm having driven from Phoenix. The hotel was not fancy but it was warm and had a lot of nice features. The room was huge, bed was super comfortable with crisp fresh linen, bathroom was great. The buffet breakfast was excellent and among the sugary horrors there were a lot of healthier things such as eggs, good quality yoghurts and fresh fruit. The buffet area was clean and well looked after by lovely friendly staff. There were also “take out” bags encouraging you to pick up things to go. We used the gym and looked longingly at the pool but it was too cold. Some brave souls used the hot tub. Our only grumble was that our room was not serviced. We came back from being out all day to find it as we left it. When we enquired at reception they told us we should have asked for it to be serviced. When we left there were other rooms being serviced on our floor. Someone was sent up but they didn’t make the bed and left other things undone so we had to ask again. Apart from that it was a nice two night stay and it was amazing to wake up after the snow and see Bell Rock

We stayed 3 nights here while exploring Sedona. It was a great location near restaurants, gas and hiking but away from the traffic and bustle of Old Town Sedona. The staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great. Lots of hot and cold choices. The staff did a great job keeping it stocked and clean. The dining area is a bit crowded. Housekeeping did a great job and very quickly covered special requests. We also got a good price for the area and season. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Near several restaurants. Good hiking right down the block. Beautiful local views. A quick drive to downtown Sedona. Acomodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was convenient and adequate. There was a very helpful grounds keeper who helped us rinse our rental car of red clay dust. He wouldn't take a tip. The pool was pleasant, especially on a hot day. I would stay there again.

We didn’t want to be in the hustle of Sedona. This is only 6 miles away from the beginning of the hustle. It was perfect. The rooms look somewhat updated. Great hot water. Pretty quiet. We were there from sun to Wed. Only bummer the beds. Ours had such a body impression that if you didn’t stay in the impression you were screwed. 🤣 the impression was literally hanging on the side of bed. 🤣. We love the area would stay here again.

We were in Sedona to vacation, and this hotel was inexpensive compared to many. Yet the hospitality team was great, the room was cleaned daily, and the room was comfortable. The AC/heater worked perfectly and quickly warmed up at night. There were two pillows for each of us and a warm blanket, enough towels replenished daily. The only disappointment I had was that there was no oatmeal 2 of my 3 days there. A plus is the serving-sized containers of non-dairy milk and great coffee.
