I love the Double Tree brand for one important reason - Chocolate Chip Cookies. The hotel over all was nice, just as expected for a Double Tree. I generally stay at other Hilton brands since Double Tree does not include breakfast, but I was in town on business and this was conveniently located.

Hotel was very nice. Recommend getting a first floor balcony room. There are local stray cats romaing the yard that you can interact with. They roam around the pool area and garden. One cat has a litter of a kittens. There are a few other individual stays as well. (They like to eat chicken)

I needed an overnight hotel stay for a work meeting nearby, but had no need to hand out at the room during the day. Got a great rate here due to the construction involved in upgrading the pool and hot tub. The listing warned of work during the day, but I was already gone by the time it would have started. Getting a hotel like this for $115 a night in January is rare. I was a bit wary as to whether I had signed up for something unknown. It was great all the way through. The front desk clerk was professional and helpful and warmed up the more I talked to her. This is clearly a retrofit to the Double Tree brand, which I know having stayed here over the years under a number of names. The place was redone and that is a good thing as it needed a refresh the last time I was here. The room was interestingly shaped. There wasn't a full height wall between the room and the vanity/closet area. It was maybe 2/3 to 3/4 of a full wall. The bathroom was fully walled off. The door of the closet swung over to be the door for the vanity area. The bathroom had its own door. While the TV wouldn't turn on, the room was actually very comfortable and quiet. The bed may have been one of the most comfortable hotel night's sleep I have had. The pillows squished and stayed to how you shaped them. The light switches looked a bit beat up. So I am saying that certain things here were a 3 and other things were a 5, so I went with the average for the rating. Would happily stay here for work again, but would wait for the pool to be done before coming back with family.

This hotel needs to remodel. Checked in room 437, carpet filthy, walls and curtains not the color they started out as wall papercoming down. Went downstairs to get another room. Same issue but worse (room 433), curtains all torn up and dirty, bed had black stuff all on it. So bottom line is this hotel needs new stuff, but thanks for the cookies and the front desk was understanding and helpful. Checked out went to Home 2 Suites which was much better was able to lay my head down

Let me start with this was a complimentary stay we had. We tried to use it in the Spring, however, the pool was undergoing renovations and would be complete soon so we waited until August, when we had to use it. The pool was still not open and seeing it partially from our room doesn't look like it's been started. We have stayed at other Hilton's and when pool issues arose they offered another Hilton nearby for the facilities. We had called and asked prior and were told no. I enquired again at checkin and was told yes, the one not far but they have to check capacity. That night we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant only to be told the chef just quit and no food available. The room looks to have been updated at some point, however, the AC is loud and not very cooling. The following day we tried their breakfast. The OJ was like water and the coffee was so weak. We left and went somewhere else for breakfast. After enjoying our day we returned to the hotel and were informed they had a chef and we could eat at the restaurant, which we did. It was better than breakfast but not by much. On the other hand, the tap beer selection was great! That night we were kept up by people partying next door -why put people right next door to another room in a not at capacity hotel? Security was at the room twice to no avail. We got up and left early, skipping breakfast. This was a complimentary stay for referrals and it was absolutely terrible. We did contact Hilton with our review and the response was apologies and that they are constantly monitoring their brands.
