The inn is conveniently located on one of the main highways. The room was clean and quiet. The reception was was less than welcoming but efficient. The restaurant prices were a tad expensive, so we elected to eat out. Seems to be a popular place, though, as it was fully booked the two nights we were there.

My spouse and I stayed in a king room the third week of May, so before the holiday weekend. We had a downstairs room in the "100" block of rooms; I actually liked being able to park right outside of our room and it was relatively quiet. Never heard anyone in the rooms on either side, even though I know they appeared to be occupied. First the good: The room was a good size, comfortable temperature (no heat, but didn't need it), bed and bath linens were nice, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The pool area was good size with tables, chairs and lounge chairs. We did not eat in the onsite restaurant. Breakfast is NOT included, which they will tell you at check in. Now the bad: The bed was VERY firm and pillows were just ok. The TV was hit or miss on network stations; in the evenings and mornings could only get NBC, and the selection of other stations is limited. The internet connection is miserable. For the most part, did not work at all. So, if you are traveling with children and they want screen time, you better download games and movies on their tablets before you get there. The front desk told us when we checked out that they have been waiting months for a part for the internet. One thing to remember is that you are basically in the middle of nowhere to see Monument Valley and enjoy what nature has gifted us. The man who checked us in was kind of abrupt, but the woman who checked us out was very friendly. Overall, not a bad stay for what we paid and options are limited in the area.

Stayed in this hotel in mid-May. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The king bedroom has a sizeable sitting area, where we shared evening drinks and snacks with our traveling companions. Like all hotels in Kayenta, Monument Valley is a 40-minute drive away, assuming you stay under the speed limit. When asked about a dinner venue, the hotel staff recommended as the best in town the Rueben Hefflin Restaurant a very short drive away. We recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

While not a national chain, this is a well-run motel staffed by Navajo people. It was clean and comfortable and convenient to Monument Valley. Our only complaint was the room was dark and needed a couple more lamps. The restaurant offered a range of things for dinner and was pleasant and probably one of the best in the area.

Where do I start. Worst hotel I've stayed at in a long time. It started as soon as we entered the room. The cold water faucet handle fell off. There was no shower curtain. The wifi never worked. The thermostat didn't control the temperature. The carpeting was torn. There's no fridge and breakfast isn't included. I could go on...
