Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff East

Clean, modern rooms, comfy beds, free hot breakfast, and great location just off the freeway about 10 mins drive from downtown Flagstaff. Indoor pool was a nice touch and staff were friendly. Good value if you’re looking for a hotel in the Flagstaff area that is up-to-date and welcoming.

Not sure where to start - almost every aspect of our recent overnight stay was a disappointment. Dirty bathroom, stained sheet, lumpy foam pillows, and extra small, thin, and stringy towels. Did I mention they charge for parking, even though their website currently says complimentary parking?

For this hotel being newer it had multiple issues, we had no heat or ac the first night and we were told they couldn’t help us till the next morning. The next morning we were moved into another room where the toilet didn’t work. Sara the “manager” was very rude and confrontational. She screamed at me and was unwilling to help. I will NEVER stay here again. Do better with who you hire Hilton.

Beware of parking charge. The email confirmation from the hotel and it's own website state there is no parking charge, but they tried to charge $7.50 and insisted there is a parking charge even though their own written confirmation states there is not. I persisted and they removed it. Also they serve breakfast but have very few places to sit down, so be prepared to eat breakfast standing.

New hotel very clean and friendly staff. They charge for parking which is ridiculous since it’s out in the middle of nowhere. We will stay at the other Hilton brands next time closer to town and they don’t charge for parking. Otherwise a nice stay.
