Super 8 by Wyndham Chandler Phoenix

Housekeeping was shouting loudly in the hallways beginning at 8am and continued all morning long. Floors need to be replaced; appears to have been flooded throughout 2nd level. Heating/cooling unit set to fan "on" (not auto) should keep fan on. It turned on/off intermittently all night. Coffeemaker was broken. "Breakfast" consisted of a small pot of regular coffee and hot water. All for just $157 a night... discounted rate!!

This place is the pits. Dark and dismal rooms and lobby. Dirty floors, no desk as portrayed in pictures. I have never stayed in such a disgusting place. The spray that they use completely permeated my clothes. AC/heat unit was noisy. Kept going on and of during the night preventing me from getting any sleep.

Broken locks, dirty rundown rooms, unkept hallways. AC didn’t work on auto, was either too hot or cold. Front desk man who said was the owner, wanted to cash for deposit aside from hvong my platinum card on file. Overflowing garbage and bums outside. Spend a little more for normalcy.

The rooms were disgusting. Hair in the tub, grime on the floors and furniture tops, duct taped Air unit. I tried to use Clorox wipes and they just turned brown and the furniture stayed sticky. The sliding door in one room stayed ajar on the top. Fire sprinkler and fan were caked with filth, patched walls, filthy bathroom doors with splatter on the door and walls. An overpowering smell of fabuloso to cover up any other smells gave us a headache. The overall hotel environment is not family friendly whatsoever; public intoxication, there was a man stumbling in the parking lot yelling some colorful words and threw a beer bottle into the rocks that's when we decided our family cannot stay there any longer. The front desk gentleman tried to put us into different rooms but the alternatives smelled of cigarettes and one of the bathroom fans had a high-pitch scream when turned on. As a family traveling with an infant, a toddler, and senior citizens this is not the hotel to be advertising family friendly.

In 30 years of traveling for business, this is the nastiest most rundown hotel I have ever been in. And when you report it, they laugh about it. All of the floors were sticky and there was mold in both the bedroom and bathroom. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, even if that means in your car
