Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix West Avondale

Absolutely amazing stay! This hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Lots of places to walk to nearby including my favorite coffee shop from San Diego, Better Buzz. The staff was extraordinary! I travel a lot for work and it shows here that the team cares about their job and guests very much. Thank you Victoria and Tyrone for taking care of me on my visit and going above and beyond. I will be back!

Nice hotel and overall good experience. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Only issues were freeway traffic noise and being subjected to having to watch “the view” on the tv in the breakfast area. Do all your guests a favor and tune your television to Fox News vs ABC.

The Inn itself offered a very good first time experience. Comfortable, well organized and tasteful studio room. Hot breakfast had nice options. I wish that the nice pool area had also offered a spa to soak in after our long drive to get there. However, the location, while very convenient, was terrible noise wise all night as it not only butts up to the freeway (constant trucks) but also an on ramp where every biker chooses to haul off as noisily/quickly as possible. The windows are double paned which helps, but we had to shut the bathroom door because noise seeps through the fan vent. Inn provided courtesy ear plugs would help or bring your own. Best to choose a room facing away from the highway.

Newer facility with great amenities. Gym, pool and patio are not large but were adequate for our stay. Breakfast had good options, facility and grounds were clean and well maintained. TIP: ask for a room on the non-freeway side. We will stay here again.

Our room was amazing! Lots of space.. comfortable bed and roomy shower! Drawbacks... 1. The noise from the highway is SUPER loud 24/7 2. The room had a strong odor.. not sure what it was.. not necessarily a bad odor but strong and industrial and never did dissipate!
