The Rutledge Inn

Booked 2 queens got 2 fulls door lock was jacked up and hotel staff just said put a shoulder in to thw door to open...then the lock doesn't lock unless manually locked from in the room. The toilet leaked and the bathroom floor was covered in water. Cameras in the parking lot were out and the place is 100 yards from the county jail. The bed and breakfast will be where i stay next time or drive the extra miles to Greenville or Troy.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Rutledge Inn. We arrived nearing the midnight hour and were greeted by the clerk who promptly processed our reservation and handed us our room keys. Told us if we needed anything just to call the front desk for assistance. Our room was large…2 queen sized beds with a small fridge and microwave. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels for our use. The room AC was set at the coldest temperature setting which was great and the room was quiet. We stayed 2 nights here. The price was very reasonable and it was nice to stay in a quiet place for a while. When my family and I travel this way again we will definitely be looking forward to staying at Rutledge Inn.

Stayed here last night had the room with the hot tub non smoking room 117 . It was a date night . But I tell you that room had the biggest hot tub in a room I ever seen it was really great . The bed was soft and comfortable the pillows was soft only thing is give us one more pillow instead of 3 but it’s ok no big deal . But the staff was great and helpful. No major complaints. 10/10 perfect

Ms. Mary was friendly and made check in a breeze. Our room was large, beds were comfy, ac was awesome, and so was the shower and bathroom. Best breakfast options around. Honestly we’re so glad we found this place. Would recommend 10/10. Pet friendly—plenty of open grass for doggies to sniff and do their business. BBQ place in the parking lot was awesome!

We stayed on our way to Pensacola and it was a very clean, updated place. The beds were comfortable. Friendly staff. The price worried me but the place is very clean. There is also a great restaurant in the parking lot.
