The man at the front desk who checked us in. was very nice. As was the staff we met. The room was clean. Very little water pressure in shower, beds not very comfortable. Was quiet with exception of ambulances from nearby hospital, that was unavoidable though. Was pet friendly. Reasonably priced. Is older motel. Don’t think we will stay there again though.

I usually do not stay at Econolodges, hardly ever. But after a long 12 hr drive, it didn’t matter where I stayed as long as I was able to rest. It was a welcomed surprise where I checked in at 11 pm. First, it was quiet and cold outside. The hotel clerk was a nice fella who checked me in pretty quickly, one of the fastest times I’d ever been checked in. The room was clean and quiet. The only issues I had were: the pillows had much left to be desired. They were flat but uncomfortable. And the sound proofing needs work. Other than that, I slept like a rock and enjoyed my short stay. I usually am unable to leave this positive of a review even for your kore expensive hotels. Though for me $70/night is on the pricey side. I’m pleased. Thanks

The management is fantastic. They are very informative, professional, and understanding. The place is an older place, needs some work. The location is great! You have restaurants walking distance, sites to see, close to shopping and the price is worth it!

This motel is falling apart. Garbage is strewn about the property. Inside the rooms, electrical hazards abound. The bed was uncomfortable and had some metal piece sticking out from underneath one edge that we could have easily scraped our leg on. Pillows were lumpy. All that could have been overlooked because after all you can deal with anything for a day or two. What we could not overlook was the rudeness of the man who said he was the general manager. After we got into our room I realized we only had two towels, three pillows on the king sized bed and one very thin blanket. I went to the front desk and waited while the "GM" checked in another guest. Once he was free I walked up to a snarling face who asked gruffly, "What do you need?" I asked for the aforementioned items and was told "I don't have those up here." I asked how we could et them and once again was told "I don't have those up here!" So we can't get them?" I asked. A third "I don't have those here!" By this time I had enough and left. When we returned to our room about 2 hours later we found two pillows tossed in the chair. This meant someone had come into our room where we had left our little dog. As far as I have been able to find out, this is not permissible unless there is some emergency. I was most concerned for the dog but also for all our personable belongs that where left out. I went up to the desk and I won't lie I was furious. To which I was told that because he was the GM he could go into any room he wanted to whenever he wanted. Broken headboard, electrical plug covers are loose, basics like tissues are missing. The room locks are strange and open only about every 3rd time. The landscaping is a disaster, but the rosebushes are impressive. The pictures do not represent the property at all. The cups provided are more appropriate for dollhouses.
