What is Hilton afraid of? They do not ask for guestsâ comments after every stay. Plus, Hilton makes it overly complicated to find and submit the online feedback form. Nachelle at checkin was efficient and friendly. Property appeared tired but clean. Breakfast selection was good. At checkout, I was blatantly ignored! The bald white male behind the counter looked directly at me then turned back around and proceeded to chit chat with a female employee whom I could not see. I waited a bit but he did not attempt to wrap up their chatty conversation so I checked out on the app. There are other hotels in town, so Iâll try those before returning to this location.

Strong Sewer Smell Not bad but there was a strong Sewer Smell near elevators and up on the 4th floor. Thankfully the room didnât smell!. I would have checked out and gone to a different hotel. Other than that the hotel was pretty clean. Definitely need to get the sewer smell addressed

We stayed at the Hampton for a baseball tournament. Like a previous review stated, there was a terrible smell upon entering the hotel. No one from the hotel addressed the smell or the situation. We were on the 3rd floor where the smell was worse. Children and parents became ill over the next few days; vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, etc. A city official at our tournament approached us and told us about the softball team who had stayed a week earlier. When I called the GM of the hotel to address the issue, he told me I was lying, that there was no smell, and the info regarding the softball team wasnât true. Other parents tried to call the GM. He would not return phone calls or refused to speak to them. The final straw was when sewage water started coming up in tubs and a couple of rooms flooded. When we tried to check out, we were told we could not check out. The lady at the front desk was trying to be helpful, but had a supervisor who kept calling her, but the supervisor would not speak to us. We asked to check out and get our receipts and the hotel refused. We finally received our final bill the day after we left the hotel. I have contacted Hampton/Hilton and they have refused to address the issue and keep sending me back to the GM. It is a shame that a hotel knowingly allows people to stay on their property aware that there are health risks.

We traveled to Florence the week of July 23, 2024 with my daughters softball team for the World Series. Upon reaching the hotel we were not very welcomed as we were a larger group but the main concern for this post was the extremely foul odor that was present predominantly on the 3-4 floor. The stench seemed to worse as our stay continued and resulted in numerous players, parents, and grandparents feeling nauseous, headaches, vomiting etc. We expressed the concern and was then told that they were aware they had a âsewageâ issue but it was being taken care of. After symptoms appeared to worsen for the team we chose to leave the premise in fear of the health issues occurring. Once leaving, the team was still charged for the stay not done and is still unresolved. Another mother on my team was notified today that the hotel is still up and running with the same issues and another team from Florida currently has 7 members experiencing the same symptoms. I would highly advise NOT staying here for fear of health concerns.

Ours was a two night stay starting Saturday evening. Location is great. Many stores, restaurants in the area. We had a first floor king room. Large walk in shower. Ample closet storage. Sofa and desk also in the room. Coffee maker, refrigerator. This area was quiet. We were close to the hallway for the gym and pool access. Staff very helpful. Breakfast staff kept the area clean and were attentive to our needs.
