I stayed in a few budget motels during a cross country road trip, some even cheaper than here, and every single one was so much better than this motel. I felt gross walking into the room, the smoke smell was overpowering and made it hard to sleep. The sheets have cigarette burn holes in them and the mattress cover is stained pretty bad. I opened up the sheets to check for bed bugs, this is the only place I felt like I needed to. The shower looked really gross, so much so that I didn't even use it. The heater sounded like a freight train. It's in a rough part of town. I ended up sleeping on top of the sheets in all my clothes because I didn't feel comfortable/didn't trust the sheets and blankets to sleep in. I woke up at 5am and bounced out immediately. Really an awful experience and the price isn't even that good, maybe if it was like $20 a night but for $75 I mean come on there are some decent Days Inn or Super 8s that are like $60 depending on the town which are actually clean and don't smell bad. Just sleep in your car or find another motel. Seriously, if you are reading this please save yourself the trouble. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I booked. I rarely even review places, but this was that bad that I felt it was my duty to come on here and warn people.

I understand that for an affordable rate I should be able to give up somethings, but this motel was ridiculous. The lobby was closed in 2022 with a pad lock for COVID. We stayed on the second floor and couldn't take the elevator because that would have required to enter the elevator. Large warning on the second floor indicating such. Also gave them an excuse to not serve the continental breakfast advertised on the sign because COVDI. We had to check-in via the very hot "night check-in" We only had one towel in our room. I called the front desk to request more towels. He gave me a stern talking to for calling so late, 8:00 pm, indicating I should have called by 3:00 if I needed service, even though I didn't check in until 7:00 pm. When he found I had just checked in he assured me I should already have clean towels, when I said we only had one, he questioned me how many people we had staying, even though I clearly had made the reservation for 2 adults. After our first night housekeeping knocked on our door, when we were still in they asked if we needed anything and we exchanged dirty for clean towels. Our next 2 days we were out in the morning and they didn't attempt to clean, replenish the bathroom, make bed, etc. I often stay 2 star hotels, and give them 5 star rating, but this is the worst service I've ever had at a Choice Hotel line.

Room was very dirty, there was mold everywhere, cigarette burns on furniture in what supposedly was a smoke free room, and we saw multiple roaches and dead flies on the floor. Horrible. Please do not waste your money. The building altogether is a health hazard.

Roach, prostitute and drug infested. This hotel is not worth letting the homeless live in it for free ,let alone charging someone $70 per night. The men that check you in are too old and don't understand anything but money. This hotel is old and outdated. I will be calling the health department. Stay away. You will be disappointed.
