Staybridge Suites Auburn University Area an IHG Hotel

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. My son has swim meets at the University and we picked this place due to the suites and the distance to campus. We are very comfortable here. Rooms are clean and comfortable and fully stocked. Hotel is quiet. They have a nice pool and a fire pit. Bar hours too. Our Auburn go to .

Overall good experience. Staff are very outgoing and friendly. The lobby and breakfast area are comfortable, clean and spacious. Outdoor pool and patio in the back are great! Nice place to relax. When we got off the elevator on our floor it was warm, humid and smelled like wet dog and pizza boxes. There was a large open trash can near the elevators- probably the source of the smells. The hallways are not air conditioned. The room however was nicely air conditioned. It was nicely appointed. Generally clean. Couch had a number of obvious stains. Shower with some mold. Nice experience. Comfortable. Would likely return if in area.

Very nice receptionist, very nice hotel. One flaw, which was rather major for me, broken lock. The hole wasnt aligned and it required very strong slamming to lock. I couldnt tell if door was lock when i was in the room, so i barricaded for the night. Shouldnt be this way, really...5 star for the looks, 0 stars to the maintenance supervisor.

This was such a nice property. The staff was so very nice and the property was very clean. They offer a small full bar. A hot breakfast. It is pet friendly, including a pet yard. They even have two grills outside by the pool! They have a two BR suite w/ two bathrooms & a small kitchenette with large Refrigerator and separate living area. 3 big tvs

We stayed for 4 nights and everything was as good as we had hoped. Excellent room with good linens, towels amenities. Their own shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were excellent products. Kitchen was well planned and supplied. Room was on 3rd floor overlooking the pool and was quiet. Staff were all pleasant and cheerfully helpful. My wife left a pair of shoes behind and the hotel shipped them to us. Plenty of parking. By the pool were a pair of BBQ grills with plenty of seating. Free washer/dryer for guest use. Only negative was the "light meal" offered for the "social hour" on Mon, Tue, Wed. One day it was nothing but a bag of popcorn and unchewable, tough warm pretzle bites with some sort of awful "cheese sauce" . Other than that we highly recommend and would return.
