With the exception of a stay in Myrtle Beach where there was vomit in the elevator and a leaking roof that threatened to collapse, this might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't believe how grimy and rundown this was for a Hilton property. We stayed for a soccer tournament, and every family had the same impression. Old, grungy, dingy, dark, and claustrophobic, are some of the words I'd use to describe the gloomy rooms, popcorn ceilings, and falling apart furniture. Our daughter unfolded the pull out couch to a thin, dirty mattress with no bedding. My husband said he thought he might come out of the shower dirtier than he went in. Ick. And to top it off, the restaurant attached was Ruths Chris!! As though I want an expensive fine dinning option attached to this property! Strange disconnect with that pairing. Can't believe I had to pay to stay here.

This hotel is outdated. I just don't know where to start on this review. All I can say DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL (The elevator panel shows how old this hotel has been in used and with no care. The furniture is old in my room is old. I mean really old. Fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen are old and do not work properly. The door jamb all around gap is way too big. etc. Dirty carpet, sofa, drapes etc.

Check-in went well as staff was polite and provided us with beverages and snacks for in-room, room was large, but A/C was lacking for the size of the room and while the breakfast did have the omelet station it wasn't the typical Embassy Suites breakfast as they only had one breakfast meat available on the morning we were there.

Check-in was supposed to be at 4:30 PM, but the lobby was full of guests who were told their rooms weren't ready. The manager said he'd look into the issue, but we didn't get checked in until 6:00 PM. Additionally, the rooms are in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms.

This hotel has the potential to be great, and was probably really nice in the past. The curtains were open in our room upon arrival. When we decided to retire for the night around 10pm, I closed the curtains to find blood in three different places, and one spot had a diameter of what looked to be about 6 inches. The curtain also looked like it had been burned in places. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel, I received "we're sorry for the inconvenience - we will tell someone" as their response. No solution, no compensation. The sink stopper in the bedroom was broken, housekeeping left trash and hair in the room, and the bedding for the sofabed was missing. The front desk agent was very kind and helpful to make sure some was sent up. Half the outlets don't work because they won't hold a plug. The pillows need replaced and they are folded in half to make them look full, but the folded towels are thicker than the pillows. Our waiter at Ruth's was Brandon and provided the best service. Ask for him if possible. The pool looked like someone poured milk into it. I would avoid the pool to prevent infections. With the amount of money that went into the entertaining parts of the hotel, the rooms reflect a seedy motel on the outskirts of town. The pictures online show a beautiful hotel which is why we booked it. I worked at a HGI years ago, and this is not reflective of the Hilton values or service.
