Mostly it was the staff at the front desk. They were pleasant but very cold like you were nobody. They said all the right things, but their personality showed different . I didn’t get much information as far as if they serve breakfast. They did have a restaurant and she mumbled something about it and that they had a pool. I really don’t know what time checkout was. I had to go online and try to figure it out the room needed the walls washed, and the carpet cleaned, and it was an average room at best. The beds were very comfortable but …. How to play you could party downstairs if that’s what you do more for outside guest instead of the in hotel guest I would think and they had a restaurant which I never even went into. The price was high for what you received. I went to a hotel in Brownsville Texas that was 100% better than this place and it was a lot less money. Very surprised total rip off as far as I’m concerned.

This was a disappointing stay overall. -The check in was a bit abrupt, and there was no acknowledgment of status, which I am not used to. Other Marriotts are usually much more welcoming. -Despite booking one of the higher end rooms, the room was very run-down and definitely outdated. It had a motel feel and just was not on-brand for a Marriott owned property. -The TV was behind-the-times in functionality. It cannot support casting from phones or laptop, so you're dependent on ad-filled cable channels. This is very out of the norm for most Marriott properties. -The room also felt quite dirty, and the furniture was slightly dusty. The bathroom floor was quite dusty in corners. The in room menu is on paper and was soiled/stained. -The room had no soundproofing. The doors closed extremely loudly, and I heard every single guest on the floor going in or out of their rooms. The noise from the street was also very loud. -Room service was OK, but more like to-go, with plastic cutlery. The price was astronomical for what I got. The positive aspect of this hotel was the club lounge. It was very spacious and quiet. It had great views of the mountains. It has a computer and a specialty coffee machine. The breakfast spread was OK; the lack of people competing for breakfast made up for the relatively small amount of options. However, overall, the stay was not worth the price. I have stayed in many Marriott properties, and this one is not representative of the brand.

the room was very good. as advertised. very spaces. the bed was nice and firm. one nice surprise the TV was the largest I have ever seen a hotel room. on the other hand the food in the dining room was one of worst i had ever had it was either luke warm or cold. It was a new years party, but they could have done a better job.

Amazing experience! Daniel at check in was kind & helpful. The rooms are well ventilated, clean, & overall comfortable. The noise inside the room is not as bad as suggested in previous reviews, which was a pleasant surprise. Would come back

My flight arrived very late on a Saturday night. The entry was very dark. The rooms need updating. The staff work hard to make up for the decrepit infrastructure. The first room I went to was on the 7th floor. It smelled like cigarettes and dogs. So I went back downstairs to the front desk. I needed 2 beds. There was only 1 left. It was on the second floor The rug was very old and stained. On Sunday morning, the front desk was able to move me to a ā€œMountain Viewā€ 2 queen bed room on the 6th floor The art/paintings on the wall look like the clearance section at home goods store. There was uneven vinyl flooring at the entry. I share a picture of the gap between the door and the floor. There were a bunch of mattresses near the dumpster There was a security guard on a golf cart in the parking lot There was a key entry for the elevator to prevent un-guests to go to room. There were lots of airline crews staying at this property. Lots of restaurants and food options close by. There were some sketchy guys in the area. They were walking zombies. But I think that’s just Alburquerque. Free parking Nice trees in parking lot. No resort fee. Coffee in room and front desk. I don’t think they need to update the countertops or anything in the rooms even though they’re outdated. It would be a waste. Clean towels. Clean sheets. Great water pressure in the shower Masculine smelling soap and shampoo. Closet space and drawers I had a meeting in this hotel, that’s why I stayed there. I was warned it’s a dump. But I wanted the convenience of having access to the room I might stay here again as long as I don’t get an old room and if I get a good view. Otherwise, I might stay at the new element hotel down the street or another property nearby like The Marriott I heard this Sheraton hotel used to be The Classic Hotel in Alburquerque and then it was The Classic Ramada and then now it’s a Sheraton Doesn’t feel too much like a Sheraton though. I’m grateful for the bonvoy points
