Red Roof Plus Fort Myers

We stayed here 5 nights at the end of February 2025, as it was close to Jet Blue Park for Red Sox spring training. Check in was at a kiosk at 10pm, it was easy. They took a $100 deposit (this wasn't an authorization, it was a completed transaction on my credit card). Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Three types of cereal, some english muffins and bread that didn't appear to be fresh. Some round egg circles and some kids brand yogurt. Make your own waffles as well. But some sausage or bacon and maybe some scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs would have been a nice addition. We ended up at Dunks or Starbucks which are both across the street. Rooms weren't bad. Bathroom was pretty small. But water was hot. Not enough towels. Room had a small microwave and a mini fridge. Bed was comfortable and linens were fine. Lighting was dim. Pool was not heated which meant my kid didn't want to go in. That was fine, but I wish I had realized that before I booked. Location was decent, a short drive to restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy and other fun things to do like movies and arcade. I paid $135/night including taxes and I wouldn't pay more than that. I got what I paid for so overall I'm satisfied.

Nice sized rooms with a comfortable bed. The room was clean and in overall good condition. Our particular bathroom had a number of mediocre repairs which were evident. There are a few places in the area to get a bite to eat which was nice. All and all good for a short stay.

OMG!! This place is great!! And Shaun the receptionist at check in is so polite and helpful and the hotel is so centrally located near everything :) I would highly recommend this to my friends and family!!! And even strangers:) I would like to give a special compliment to Shaun at the front desk he was very polite and personable :) And when your checking in that makes all the difference in the world!!! I should know I did it for 15 years ! Thank you Red Roof Inn Plus and Shaun at the front desk for making my stay wonderful!!

After reading these reviews I wasn’t sure about staying here. But I was pleasantly surprised! Not bad at all!! Bed comfy, super clean, laminate wood-look floor, tile in lobby, nice bath with tub! Easy parking and a lot of nearby shops and restaurants. TV was a learning process (all streaming) but price and location are great. Kiosk checkin but there’s a live video check-in (from covid maybe?) there was a dehumidifier in the room (besides the typical air conditioner) a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
