On the plus side, the staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be given the rough situation with the rooms, and the beds were comfortable. Where do I start with the problems? It took 3 rooms to get one that was habitable. The first one reeked of paint fumes. The second one, where I spent the first night, had numerous issues. The toilet seat was loose and there was no toilet seat cover, so my cat was drinking out of the toilet. The manager told me none of the rooms had toilet seat covers, so it would have been pointless to get a different room. What the heck? Are guests stealing toilet seat covers??? The toilet was also running 24/7, and they told me it couldn't be fixed. I had requested a room with a bathtub, which this one had. But the tub was filthy with layers of rings from previous users. Then, the lever to go from shower to bath was missing. I had to ghetto rig the shower to drip into the tub to get a bath. I asked for an extra blanket because the room was cold. They had no extra blankets. What hotel has no blankets? Even though it is the end of October and cold, they hadn't yet turned on the heat for the season. The AC was on when I arrived, and it was freezing! There were some rough looking people hanging out outside my door having loud conversations and some people having a shouting match nearby till 2 am so I didn't get much sleep. It appears that there is a large homeless population hanging out there and congregating near my room. I didn't feel safe there, especially to go off during the day and leave my stuff and my cats in the room. In addition, the wifi was so slow that it was unusable, so I wasn't able to get the information I needed to plan my next day. So the first night was terrible, and I didn't sleep much. The next day I was moved to the room next door. The tub worked but was also filthy. The manager spent a good 20 minutes scrubbing it out for me. They had no Ajax (I offered to buy some but they declined) so it took a good amount of rubbing with their cleaner to get the rings out. This room did, in fact, have a toilet seat cover, and the tub worked. But it was freezing as it was in a location where there was no sunlight. The evening and next morning I was freezing (temp outside was in the 30's). I called and asked whether the heat was coming on. They said I would have to wait to see if the maintenance staff were turning it on today and whether there would be an extra blanket available. But I have things to do today and won't be able to wait. The neighbor upstairs was having a loud conversation last night and banging around quite a bit, but it was all done by midnight so I managed to get some sleep. The location of this room and the other one from the night before seem to be in the middle of Grand Central Station, with a lot of loud activity and rough looking people hanging around. I woke up freezing though here on my second day of the 3-night stay. I have one more night here to see if I can get some heat or an extra blanket. They did offer me an electric heater, but I was afraid my cats would knock it over and set the place on fire so I declined. I also note that the big Motel 6 sign was torn down, so if I didn't already know where the motel was, I would not have spotted it. Also, all the vending machines in the lobby were out of order. Fortunately, the ice machine works. I have stayed at Motel 6 up and down the front range and also the one in Yuma AZ. The one in Pueblo is by far the worst I've stayed at. It's hard to find hotels that accept pets, so there aren't many choices for pet owners. Otherwise, I would have left after the first night. On the plus side, the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. Though the beds are comfortable and the staff as accommodating as they could be under the circumstances, I doubt I will stay at this Motel 6 again.

I have stayed at Motel 6 in Pueblo many times over the past 3 years, as I have appointments every six months in Pueblo. I travel with my cat so this motel is reasonable. Front staff is always nice and I feel for them having to deal with many problems that this motel has. So far the bedding and bathrooms have always been clean. And the TV mostly works. I use my computer. This is what I do: I bring my own small ceramic heater and extra blankets. Sometimes I am in a handicapped unit due to medical issues. Those units maintain specific criteria and heat is always functioning or will be soon. This is a cheap motel and there are going to be problems. Be prepared and appreciate the staff who do their best to make our stay comfortable. If we need everything to be better than it is then we need to go elsewhere. The location is perfect.

Linda was just the friendliest and curtious beautiful lady I would love to say she went beyond her own way to make sure I was taken care of beyond, she even called me through out the night to make sure I had everything that I needed, she was differently an angel in disguise,we need more front desk clerks like her, I'd definitely will go back and recommend her as employee of the month , she well deserves it and to be honest there should be more of good people like her,❤️

1st off I'd like to say that the front desk staff was super friendly and tried to be helpful. Now that is out of the way everything else about this stay was horrible. From the check in requirements demanded by Motel 6, (why the he k do they need ID for all adults in room. When the person checking into room is the only one responsible? To having a crap a/c and it just barely cooling room. Beds are uncomfortable, tiny shower. All in all just a reminder as to why I rarely stay at a Motel 6. In my experience they are all pretty much trash. The "light" they leave on for you is some disgruntled guest burning one down somewhere.
