DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel Tucson Reid Park

This is an old hotel and they have tried to remodel it. The hvac system is very loud. Take earplugs if you want to sleep. I moved rooms, but had the same issue in both rooms. I had meetings and was exhausted. Security might be an issue for some as most of the rooms are outside the security gates and off the parking lot— similar to a roadside motel. There are rooms in the tower, my colleague said they are dated . I would not stay here again.

This location is the best in Tucson with close access to transportation. The location is close to downtown and the major streets for easy accessibly. To top the charts the staff is AWESOME and eager to assist any way possible. This is definitely my “FAVORITE” when staying in Tucson.

The rooms are nice and super clean, the front desk and valet teams have been outstanding, and Leah and the bar/ restaurant team are incredible (and so sweet). The breakfast and coffee are tasty! Would highly recommend and will for sure be back!

I have stayed in Hilton branded hotels across the globe. I've never stayed in one that reminded me more of a days inn or Motel 6 than this one. 2nd time staying here. 1 st time the Air conditioning for the entire building was out.... No offer of a portable or even a discounted price. This time, no keys.... Literally, the place ran out of key cards and to get into our room a staff member had to accompany us and Grant us access. The check in staff was quite testy about the whole thing. When I asked about how that could happen, her response was an exasperated huff and the offer to refund our money accompany by the suggestion to stay elsewhere. The room was comfortable, but lacked the refined feeling I've come to expect from Hilton branded properties. The hallway carpets looked like something out of an hourly hotel, not a luxury brand. We will not be returning.

Not safe. I've been a diamond member for many years and this property was one of the worst I've experienced. It doesn't meet Hilton standards. The rooms open to the exterior. Cars were within 10 feet of my door. Anyone could have come up to the door. - there was no security. The apartment complex across the alley was gated but access to the Hilton rooms was not. I barely slept the entire time I was there because I felt so unsafe. To make it even worse, the AC barely worked. The room never got cool and it was in excess of 100 outside. The rooms were very dated. I also didn't get my food credit at the restaurant. Overall a very disappointing stay. Should have cancelled when I arrived and saw the setup but was told I'd have to still pay for the night. It felt more like a Motel 6 than a Doubletree.
